Gallery of log for Sydney Harbour (Port Jackson) EarthCache
Whilst visiting the 'big smoke' with Gazamataz for a wedding, I made plans to see a part of the city to which I had never previously ventured. I caught a bus ( not a regular thing for me to do ) from Bondi Junction and talk a walk down past the Historic Vaclause Homestead to Shark Bay and claimed some caches along the way.
I enjoy earth caching, and this one didn't disappoint.
The tide was down through sheer luck on arrival and my feet were swept over by crystal clear waves as I inspected and photographed the geology of the first GZ.
Our little walk out to the headland was non eventful, but the views were spectacular. Another couple of photos and some rock hopping at the 2nd GZ had me confident of answering the questions provided.
An excellent earth cache in a spectacular location. TFTC.
I am not a fan of the city, but a spot like this could convert me.
