Gallery of log for Rocking Stone
Hello Dippedidooda
Last night Darling Daughter had here 18th birthday party so I thought she and her friends would be sleeping in. With that in mind I planed to get up nice and early and go to the "Rocking Stone" and take some sunrise photos.
This morning up at 5:30am dressed and ready to go but.
Mr "D" can you take me into town at 8:00? Came a request from one of the party goers who was helping drive the porcelain bus.
After the initial delay the sun was up and the clouds had started to roll in on the VERY cold and VERY windy mountain.
After reading the description I managed to walk to and find the cache without the use of any navigation equipment at all. A nice easy find.
As I expected due to cloud the views weren't the best but the ice in the puddles on the way made for some interesting scenery and a lovely walk.
Another ANZAC day *FTF* TFTC
