We thought we had done our last NZ cache but.... When we had access to the internet, we discovered that a geocoin we picked up in Franz Josef had a goal to get to Australia via the North Island. Yikes, we leave for the USA in 3 hours. This was only about 1km from our hotel so we beat feet it with hopes of any easy find to get the geocoin placed.
Well the geocoin is there but in the rush of everything, we forgot to write down the tracking number to log it. I have a message into the owner but who ever finds it, if they would let me know what the tracking number is, we will get this in order. TFTH and our last NZ cache. Scott and Lorry USA

On our way from Franz Josef to Christchurch and this is number 200 for us, HURRAH, and also sets a 1 day personnel record for number of finds, 12/12 with DNF's, 12 hours, and over 400km.
Took the long way and what a beautiful neighborhood. Looks like some folks have been doing a little cleaning around the area. The tree is no longer wrapped up in vines and the cache is on the opposite side of the tree but still there and in good shape. TNLNSL TFTH

On our way from Franz Josef to Christchurch and trying to set a 1 day personnel record for number of finds and this is 11/12. Not sure about the parking coords and perhaps local knowledge would help. Very clever name and we would agree for the need of such a cache. Thanks for the hunt. TNLN Scott and Lorry USA
Great spot. Followed the DOC crew over the entire pass at 30 to 40 KPH and of course they pull off at this spot. REI bug juice or similar is a must on this cache. TNLN TFTH Scott and Lorry USA PS be warned NO insecticide in cache.
5 of 6 for the day on our drive to Franz Josef. Even with the overcast skies, this was a great walk and a nice cache. TNLN TFTH Scott and Lorry USA
Great day for caching and this one is no exception. There was a GeoCoin in this that we picked up but has not been logged so will do that as soon as the previous cachers get to it. We left a belt clip compass. TFTH Scott and Lorry USA
Great drive and this is 6/6 for the day. Nice place for a cache but the last time we looked, a 1 star terrain was wheelchair accessible, we would consider crawling on your hands and knees at least 2 1/2. Yea yea, those whining Americans... TNLN TFTH Scott and Lorry USA
Caching on our way to Franz Josef. Great spot. This was our 1st 4 star terrain but might be only a 3 star under the conditions we found. TNLN TFTH Scott and Lorry USA

Great day for a walk from downtown. We're off to Doubtful Sound. TNLN TFTH Scott and Lorry USA

As the previous cacher, we left the states without the coords but thank you for the hints and parking coords. We are dropping off the crab key chain TB that we picked up in Christchurch.
We are also leaving our new TB "DASH" that has not yet been registered. Thank you for your patience until that happens. Beautiful park and thanks for the hunt. Scott and Lorry USA

Earlier in the morning, before our swim with the Dolphins, we drove to the top of Lighthouse road but had forgotten the GPS back at the BNB. Oh well, will have to drive our little Nissan 4 cylinder rental back up this hill. Well worth the views. In fact this is one of our most spectular cache view's we've done. TNLNSL TFTH Scott and Lorry USA
Spending a few nights in Akaroa and this is a great day for a drive on the Banks pennisula. Thanks for introducing us to LeBons Bay, it's beautiful. We must give thanks to a previous cacher for providing the accurate / correct coordinates. The orginal lat long are a ways off. TNLNSL TFTH
