Our last day in NZ we spent on the Coromandel Peninsula and there was just enough time left to see the Cathedral Cove. Although there were a lot of people we could search and find the cache without any problems.

Stopped here for the nice view and it turned out here is a cache hidden as well. Searched for some minutes without success then met a geocacher from Sweden who found the container in the end.

Right after we left our B&B in Thames we stopped here for this cache. It turned out to be a wonderful spot with a great view. Deserves a favourite point.

Just before we took the ferry there was some time for a very last cache on the South Island. We took some pictures from the vessel and when we boarded and went to the observation deck we took some pictures of the lookout area.

We spent two nights at a nice lodge nearby. Today we walked along the beach and noticed there is a cache hidden. It was well concealed but we could find it quickly.

During our journey to Takaka we stopped here because this place looked nice. Then I checked for nearby caches and indeed there was one. It took us approximately 30 seconds from finding out here is a cache hidden until we found and logged it.

What a nice place. We just found, logged and replaced the cache when a big coach with many tourists arrived. That was the reason we disappeared rapidly.

What a great location! We came from the west which wasn't a good idea. The path was very muddy. But finally we reached the cache location, found the container and had a long break afterwards.

After visiting Milford Sound we stopped here to log this cache. This was a fantastic location. We stayed a long time and took several photos. We wouldn't have stopped here without this cache.

We spent a beautiful day at Milford Sound. The weather was perfect. We saw seals, many birds and fish and even an octopus.

We parked our car and started to walk to explore the city. After a short time I started the geocaching app to check if any caches are nearby. This one was right next to our car. When we returned we found the cache, it was just 2 meters from the car.

We stayed for one night at a B&B nearby, so we walked along the beach and wanted to find this cache.
However we found the first stage only but could identify the final location using the half coordinate. The owner even confirmed this is the right place but we couldn't find the container.

Short visit to Wellington before we head off to the South Island tomorrow morning. We took the Cable Car up the hill, walked through the garden, found the cache and watched some people installing coloured lights in the lower part of the garden. Very nice.

We spent one night in Napier. In the evening we went out for dinner and to find some caches. We we arrived we noticed 2 other geocachers, the dean-crew. Together we could find the container.

Spent 30 minutes but couldn't find the cache. Suspected the mailbox but there were real postcards inside. 

After visiting Hobbiton there was some time left to find a cache. First stage and final container could be found easily.

After a White Island tour we stopped here for a snack. Normally avoiding monitored cache spots but this was just ok. Nice hiding place.
