In the Olympics Testra was advertising relentlessly their product with what looked like rats or other characters like as diverse a pair of flowers or a kookaburras being flustered. My hands don't work like the older days, you know when supersonics5 was still available. But we are bananas and let's stay with that. And let's back to the free chocolate. B1's hands don't work like used to, so off to the chocolate shop we head. With plenty to choose from B1 picked out the Turkish Delight this time and on paying for this treat my directional device ran out of charge and proceeded to switch off. The payment was paid for by the cashere under the watchful eyes of his boss. The boss was not happy. The bananas were ecstatic with the opening of this treasure and the free chocolate and a (FTF) in always drizzly conditions. Some day B1 will pay for the chocolate but not today. Rather than announcing than everyone in geocaching circles takes advantage of the generosity cashere of the soon to be poor cashere. Looking at his boss the bananas suggests that he does not get award wages. And to sum it all up The Turkish Delight was sensational. 

The bananas replaced this treasure in this incredible location. Returning from the relatives place in central NSW. B1 was reliving the last time we were here. That we so far in the competition before the marshal sent me the wrong way.This was an Australian Mountain Bike Championship. The one CadelEvans won many times before he won the Tour de France. And you you only get 1 chance at the first event. B1 is still bitter with the marshal.Lesson learnt.Hold a grudge indefinitely Know the course. B1 never got lost in competition again. Have to wat another month to win my first Australian Championship. F of the area. What a fantastic use of the environment. So simple.The bananas were suitably impressed. H b. Though the bananas for the previous 138 months, we never left this late to our first to find.But July is cachemas month and there were plenty of opportunities if you are prepared to wait. They built a flood basin just like this one about 400 metres from our place. The creek regularly flooded. No matter how much it rains the bananas never saw the flood basin tested. Not once.The flood never came. No way we were was waiting 100 years to test all combinations. B1 had already lived in area for 30 years.Why all information?Because how long can this treasure last? Possibly forever if they have to get the plans as up our road. But more likely, just till it floods.

Even when 6 eyes were looking, it was on the other side of the fence. And that was a no go area.The bananas tried to get there. For nearly one hour. But without any luck 

The whole B team was together again. The security guard had taken pity on us and supplied us with coffee and hot chocolate at no expense. While we waited for the doors to open, Bernie joined us in the queue. He joined us late, no coffees for him. 

The bananas think that this owner has taken the mantle as most preferred geocachers to look out for.The few that we have done have been precise steps, clear instructions that lead to well constructed collusions to shows he/she cares about this game. I have not met the owner as our paths have not crossed but the bananas would like to rectify that in the near future and give them a hearty handshake for the pleasure they have given the bananas.World class enjoyment.And obviously another favourite point.

Easy enough to find.Easy enough to sign.Over the next hour and a half with all the tools at our disposal it was too small to receive the report back where it came from. The bananas like the owner's name because you guessed it, we adore donuts.After 20 years of absence from this delightful delicacy due to a sporting pursuits. That's 20 years to make up. Landed in just right place. The bananas would rather be in Happy Valley, not a few kilometres over in the unpleasantly named Snake Valley.Under Turd the bananas explored that before writing this report, and found that it was terrible place. Dead snakes everywhere. Someone walks their dog here and doesn't pick up after they pollute the place. But there is something else wrong. Bigger than the dead snakes. There is no powertrail.And for the record, the smell for a whole week. Don't say the bananas didn't warn you.

Apparently the bananas found and signed the original placement. Why, Why, Why?Why was a placement allowed so close to an old treasure that was clearly still there.

So many butterflies.At the start of last month they are all white now they're all brown with black spots. Just plenty of them. So many the bananas were walking in full shade on this sunny day.Interspersed amongst the butterflies the March Flies all dishing out their unpleasant encounters with a bite telling us we're on their home turf.B1 could swat handfuls with 1 strike, but those days have long gone much to the relief of the flies. B2 wouldn't hurt a fly. Cover up and except their home ground advantage and you will be a better person.

The bananas thought about the Linton Memorial on the long journey to here You see my brother was a member of the CFA and somehow I heard on the news his patrol was in the Linton area and some lives had been lost. Time moved slowly that's day. Real slow. Glacially slow. Remember like it was yesterday. Not 26 years ago. Family, you know that you like the best for your family.This banana had 5 siblings, half of them were boys. God had already taken one, lost at sea in 1975 at Port Fairy. Unlucky for some, my brother Mark was spared that day 26 years ago. God kept him at work for a whole day. Those who perished that day Mark knew most of them all too well. These brave people have been immortalised in the memorial. Linton, that day lost some good folk and Linton Memorial has done them proud.

The bananas came both ways. From Picture Point until the Valley of Death stopped us. With no ropes we could venture no further. All the rain recently had made foot placement unstable. So turn turn around and long walk back to the car for rope and safety gear. So we slept on it. It was shorter from the Upper Howqua Campground but like the Picture Point where B2 has never been or seen, B1 had never been there. Well worth the effort was the comment from B2!So after tip toeing around the mountain in the car after an ungodly early start. So with all the safety aboard until the Pillar of Death appeared from the forest. Just like Boy Scouts "Be Prepared". And we were. With less than 2 lengths of available rope ignoring the hypotenuse to the treasure it was time to pull out the formly mentioned. The harness stayed in the pack. The treasure didn't reveal itself easily as who would place a treasure there.And the King is dead. So long live the King.Previously the bananas gave out the most Randomly Placed Treasure mostly to one individual. This surpasses the all the criteria by a long way.So let's make it official. So the Most Randomly Placed for the Year 2023.The bananas hope there are so many more contenders.Favourite given.Well done grasshoppe.

The one constant to this treasure is that it takes a long time to find.More than 7 hours of searching for 2 finds. And that's just the reports that have been reported. Understand people don't write DNFs anymore. They are too lazy Conclusion: This is a hard treasure to find. Good on you A2986 for raising the standard of hides.The bananas thank you.
