OK let’s just start by saying when I got home my girlfriend said I’m glad you had a good time but boy do you need a shower. Macho contacted me a week prior to this Adventure and we set up designated meeting place. We met at 10 in the morning and set off to the landing spot a very narrow road let us to a 10 minute delay well two vehicles tried to pass. We arrived at the landing and unloaded the quad we both agreed on the direction we must go little did we know it was the wrong choice after about 3 miles a very treacherous trails we came out on a very smooth dirt road and said well we shall take this one back we continued on a little further down the road I was told to make a left this is where it got ugly we noticed a couple bikers coming down the hill and it was rather steep they went by and we started to go up it unfortunately we rolled the quad after a few moments of ugliness we roll the quad back over and it started back up and we decided we would walk the rest away which was 1.1 miles as the bird flies. After I evaluated the situation the quad was still running all right I made it up the hill through a different route so we continued on on the quad we were able to make it to within 2500 due to the height we had it made unfortunately there was a tree in the middle of the path so we grabbed the container I had to replace the damaged one and had it off about 15 minutes later we arrived at the spot we found no reminiscence of the old cash so we replaced it with a 50 mm ammo cans that I brought with me placed at Ground Zero now that we have that over with we decided to head back this time we were a little more careful and every time we hit trails that seem to steep I had him get off and walk up and I drove the quad up does seem to work fairly well except I could tell it was rough on him walking up those hills I felt very bad we were both very sore from the rollover on the quad we made it back to the staging area well we proceeded to put the quad back on the truck for some reason when I put the quad in reverse and hit the gas I flipped it again fortunately I was the only one on it we agreed to go to lunch after the event for both decided that we had enough and wanted to make it home. This is a very epic adventure good luck to anyone who attempts it it’s fun but a couple old fat guys like us need to really consider what we’re doing I have been wanting to do this one for over 10 years look I did it
