Logs for Climax Neil

Although this week has been my first time in Sydney, I do feel like I knew this area anyway. The reason? A series that was on back in the UK some years ago called 'Billy Connolly's World Tour of Australia'. One episode featured his show at the Opera House and showed him walking to the gig past these plaques. Given the Scottish theme to my introduction I have selected Robert Louis Stevenson as my author and to close the Scottish circle, I have chosen 'Kidnapped' as my book because after completing my studies at Edinburgh University 12 of us hired a cottage in the tiny village of Appin in the West Highlands which featured in that particular book. An FP of course for the location and general theme. Thanks

What a beautiful morning. 2 days in to my trip and my body still hasn't adjusted to the 10 hour time difference totally. A good stroll in the morning helps waken the senses and what a place to go for a stroll. Nice and simple find. An FP obviously for the location. Thanks

Wow! What a spot for a cache. I arrived in town from Manchester (UK) last night - never been to Sydney before but it all seems so familiar. Was out for an early morning wander to clear the head. Soon found this. Thanks and deserves the FP obviously
Greetings from Manchester, UK. Arrived last night and needed an early morning stroll to clear the head. Soon found. Many thanks
What a great area of history the Rocks is. Coming from the UK, we see all the shots of the Bridge and the Opera House etc but I never knew about the history here. Huge cache for a city centre! Thanks

Had a few minutes spare before heading back to Manchester. I lived in Edinburgh for a few years in the 90s and never once visited this monument so I was glad to right that wrong. A typical photo of the monument is attached - thankfully for you, dear reader, it is not a selfie! Many thanks
Have looked for this a few times and never found it. No idea why as I went straight to it today. Maybe I was thinking too cryptically! Anyway, many thanks
