Logs for Crystal.Skull

On a weekend away camped at the camping ground above the falls decided to see if there were any caches around and low and behold there was one right here. Beautiful walk to the falls and nice quick find. Very easy to spot if you know what you're looking for. As many others have mentioned the log book is completely saturated. TFTC
Have always loved coming here since I was a kid and love bringing new people here. So on my partners first trip to the Otways we decided to do a little Geocaching and came across this one on our last day. TFTC
03-Mar-24
Found it. Didn't have a pen as we were on a spontaneous walk, but wanted to show my partner how to find his first geocache.
14-May-17
Very clever hide. Took us a good 10 minutes to find, on the brink of giving up, before our first timer that we brought along spotted it. TFTC
Unfortunately this cache couldn't be completed, as the concrete slab has been cleared of all ornaments
This one was an easy find, and first find for our newbie. Beware of the beehive in a nearby log. I got close to them and they were fine, just be careful not to disturb them TFTC
Very easy find. Log book is in desperate need of replacement! It literally crumbled into dust as we touched it. TFTC
Very very clever hide. Not long after arriving, the guy next door approached us and told us to come find him when we couldn't find it. This assumption made us more determined to find it, sending longer than I think we've ever spent on a traditional cache, but after checking what we thought was every nook and cranny a hundred times over, we finally found it. Definitely a favorite TFTC!

Awesome hide! 3 of us hunted for ages, was just about to give up until I remembered I hadn't checked the clue. Found it within 30 seconds after reading the hint. TFTC, this is definitely our new favorite!
Found this one again, forgot to log it on the app last time, but looking at the physical log, we were the last to find it over 12 months ago on 2/2/16. Still took us a good 5 minutes to find the cache, couldn't remember the hiding spot from last time TFTC (again)
Nice quick easy find. Amazing being so close to the college and yet unable to see it. TFTC.
Extremely overgrown and the abundance of giant spiders in giant webs suspended from tree to tree meant leaving the track to find this cache impossible. Very disappointing, should maybe reassess the hiding spot?

DNF 3 of us spent a good 10 minutes hunting high and low but no trace of the cache. Disappointing as we brought a newbie along, and this was his first cache, so definitely not a great start.
A great quick cache passing through on our way back to Shepparton. Brought a newbie along for the trip, and after a disappointing DNF on our first cache attempt, it was great to see this still in place. Found within 60 seconds of arriving, so a great cache for our beginner TFTC.
Unfortunately, between 3 of us and about 10 minutes, we weren't able to find this cache, despite hunting high and low. Quite a few muggles around though which hindered hunting efforts, so will have to go back when it's a bit quieter and have a proper search.
29-Mar-16
Found it. Took awhile, it's very well camouflaged. A little annoyed there was no writing tool. As the description said they were big, we didn't think to bring one with us a so couldn't fill out the log book. Also, no trackables here, although there were.3 logged here at the time.
Found it, although was a spontaneous find and came unprepared so didn't have a pen and was unable to fill in log. It would be appreciated of cache hiders could warn if a writing instrument isn't provided as we walked a fair way to find this one.
Was a very easy find, spotted it straight away, but concealed it a bit better to make it a bit more challenging. TFTC

Found it. Took awhile as gps kept playing up, and muggles everywhere but we finally got it.

Find it, although couldn't sign the log as no writing tool was provided and we didn't think to bring one. Log 'book'was pretty trashed too, just small pieces of paper crammed into the container.
Bit of a disappointing cache, but TFTC anyway.

We were in Shepparton and had a few hours to kill, so decided to drive out to Dookie and pick up a few caches. This was our first grab, although was a bit difficult as we had channel maintenance workers mingling around. Good hide, although disappointed that it wasn't on the church grounds itself. TFTC.
13-Jan-16
This one was a bit of a tricky find, especially as the gps kept pointing us in different directions, but just as we were about to call it quits my partners keen eyes spotted it as we were heading back to the car. Although disappointing to see another trackable was not in it's logged cache. TFTC.
Have driven past this a thousand times and never would have known it was there. This cache was a super easy find, which we were glad about as it was a 43 degree day and had just finished the little more active ' STOP YOUR CUSSEN' cache, although picking it up around 5pm on a weekday is probably not ideal. So many muggles out on the road, probably looked like we were doing something illegal :-/ but anyway, an enjoyable cache as always, and found our second trackable. TFTC.
What a sneaky hide. This has definitely been my favorite hide, my partner and i were extremely impressed by the thought and work that went into this one. We spent awhile looking around for it and wasn't until I finally decided to read the hint that we found it.
It was also interesting walking around the park, we live in the area and drive past frequently, but have never been so we didn't actually realize just how big it is, and despite being a scorching 43 degree day we had a wonderful time. TFTC

A nice quick cache on our way home from Bendigo. Beautiful spot by the river. TFTC
Just on our way home from Bendigo and thought we'd stop in to pick up a quick cache. Found it fairly quickly and enjoyed the cemetery for awhile, and would probably never have known the cemetery was there otherwise. TFTC

We were a bit weary going to this one after reading about the snake incident, however it was on our route home and thought, why not.
After stopping we found this cache within moments of waking around the area, but what a great hide as you wouldn't even notice it if you weren't looking for it, and we were pleased to see that it was now in a snake free location. Thank you to The Morris for the cache, and a special thanks to Team BFG for the relocation.

Had a bit of trouble to begin with finding the clues, given that it was only my third cache, and my partners second, and we didn't have a proper gps to begin with, but given we frequent the area and knew it well, we found the 'clues' we deciphered from in the description were almost enough for us, with only a little help from the gps to guarantee we were heading in the right direction.
A fantastic cache nonetheless and we had a blast finding it. TFTC

What a fantastic cache.
My partner somehow managed to find James immediately, although the second one was a bit more of a challenge, but the most challenging part for us was finding the cache itself given that I messed up the coordinates, whoops.
Still, had a great time, especially given it was only my second cache and my partners first. TFTC.
P.S. We also replaced the pen as the one provided no longer worked

Very easy to find and some fun swaps. Great as it was my first cache. Although I have lived in the town for 15 years and would have never known it was there. TFTC.
