Logs for Cthu1hu 

Here on the Sunshine Coast for a week's vacation, this cache was only a short walk from our accommodation. Lovely spot, and you definitely need to look for the rock! 

Spent 30 minutes examining every cleft and crevice - lots of good hides, no cache. 

A nice easy cache for a Sunday afternoon, and one of the more audacious hides I've seen. Tftc 

A beautiful afternoon in the gorge, we did the snow gum walk first and then down into the gorge proper as the sun sets.

Bloody hot day to be sitting next to the road waiting for the traffic to pass to get this one! Log books are full. TFTC. 

A lovely hot morning to visit the desert park, topped off by a quick cache, my first in Alice Springs. 

Typically warm day up here. Found the cache no problems, also met a black-headed, copper-bodied snake nearby. TNLN TFTC. 

An excellent view of the beach from up here, and the sun decided to emerge just add I found the cache too. Lovely! TNLN TFTC. 

Finally a cache I could find! I have been wandering the streets of an unfamiliar city this morning before boarding my flight home, but until now I haven't been able to crack a cache.Awesome views and a neat little hide. Tftc. 

Btw the pencil appears to be missing... logbook is fine though. 

On a work trip to the top end, had to stop and find this one because it's about as remote as I have gone with caching. An interesting stop on an interesting day. Tftc. 

After an awesome breakfast with family at the nearby cafe, we wandered across for what proved to be a very straightforward find. Tnln tftc. 

Lovely spot for a picnic or a bbq, and of course geo caching. A little too little for a swap, especially considering we didn't come equipped. Nice hide as usual, Tankengine. Tftc. 

A lovely afternoon for a cache, wandering around with geo kid #2 while her older sister is at a party at Tunzafun. I think we got the better half of the deal!

We re-hid the cache using the fastening method suggested by the cache container, however when we got here the cache was hidden more in the manner of a pirate hoard. It pays to look around! 

Yep, that was a good one. Third cache for the day down at pine island, and glad the geo kids weren't with us for the surprise... tftc 

Second cache with the geo kids and Minifig Ant, and we were very impressed with how much effort Tankengine went to when finding just the right rock. Tftc. 

A great little find with the geo kids on election day. A bit small to drop anything off, of course... tftc. 

Second visit, but didn't look for a cache the first time. Tn:ln:tftc 

Found on a somewhat chilly night with Minifig Ant and Hiraethin. As always, caching at night has no doubt made the easy path invisible... left alien whistle TB, took hope TB.

Well, I was in Braddon for a course, so I figured I would give this one a go. An easy find, the GPS had not even got a fix and I could deduce the hide site. The challenge, as with everyone, was muggles.

No matter, I am sure I fit in just fine standing and "talking" on my phone as I waited for the right moment to strike... Pocketed the container and walked it well away prior to signing the log.

Not far enough, perhaps, because I got called out by a passer-by... Hang on, it's just RedcrowX!

Well, here I was in Melbourne with my lovely wife Geo_Mum and brother Orroral. We noticed a new cache more than a day old without a find - a chance for FTF! Alas, it was not to be, we poked and prodded for about 45 minutes, used the clue, poked and prodded some more and even tried to use the cache name to relocate the GZ to no avail. 

Found with Geo_Mum, JessicaAU and Orroral. I stayed with the geo toddler while they did the dirty work. This after a great day at Science Works!

Found with Geo_mum and JessicaAU. A nice cache with some suitably topical clues. The box was on the ground but we replaced it on the metal panel that appeared to be provided for the purpose. TNLNSL.

Followed all the clues and previous logs for suggestions but could not find any sign of a cache. 

Much more of a challenge with the construction work going on - clue was invaluable.

Third and final find of the night, and what an adventure! We decided to leap fences instead of going the whole distance underground, but still very challenging. Wonder how many drivers thought it was odd to see three guys dressed in dark clothes at 10pm poking around a ditch near the prison... As the pipe crawler I felt justified in taking a card, there are two left.

Found this one with Hiraethin after a monster night of caching - 5 in a row, which for us is not too bad...

My Geocaching name is Cthu1hu, which is a very small bastardisation of Cthulhu, the most diabolical creation of early 20th century horror author H.P. Lovecraft http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cthulhu.

Saw the magnificent bird while retrieving the cache, fantastic! The container is still looking considerably worse for wear, lid is cracked and while the contents were dry there is evidence of water damage. Fourth cache with the geo family today, now off home so the little one can have her afternoon sleep.

A nice walk and a quick find, although failing light threatened. Found a tow truck waiting at the parking area, I think he thought my car was abandoned and was waiting to vulture it...
