Thanks for bringing me to this historic site. I had never heard of this flight before today.

Nice find out for a run with the dog and kids. We went through the tunnel and followed the creek bed to the next cache. Great fun...
A nice location which we approached down the creek from the nearby cache. Fun for the kids...
18-Jun-11
Great location in a spot I would not normally visit. In the area for my son's hockey game. Nicely hidden. Thanks.

What a spectacular view. With low cloud this morning in the valleys it makes it all more pronounced. Reasonably quick find (but there were 9 of us).
This was one of the hardest caches I have done in a long time. We searched in the difficult bush for several minutes with no luck. I suspect that the co-ords are slightly off my a few meters to the [South]? Still we found it in the end. An interesting spot. Thanks.
A straightforward find. Last one for the day in this striking forest. The picnic ground was a nice spot for lunch.
11-Jun-11
A nice easy find. Thousands of people were streaming out from nearby exhibition centre from a talk by the Dalai Lama. The kids loved playing on the nearby crane.
A quick find. We were two families - and we all borrowed bikes under Melbourne's Bike Hire scheme. A lot of fun.
Fun to find this interesting mosaic. Cache was straightforward. Thanks.

Found despite losing GPS batteries with 50 metres to go. A nice look at a pleasant park.
15-Oct-10
No luck with this one... Perhaps I didn't look long enough. There was a homeless person sitting on the wall which made it hard to search for too long without looking suspicious...
A nice easy find on a business trip to Adelaide. What exactly is the link with Treasury? The buildings didn't look like present or former government buildings?
03-Jul-10
This would be a good one to bring the kids back to. Not too hard when you are in the right spot! I really need to upgrade my GPS to something that works better under the trees...
02-Jul-10
I wish I read the other comments before trying to find this. The coords took me to a very likely looking spot. I even used a flashlight. But nothing. At least (after reading the other comments) I don't think this one was my fault...
No luck with this one. The river was higher than normal - I wonder if that was a factor. The park is very pretty.

Cool hide. Never seen anything like that before. Found with Deckchair and family.
26-Jul-09
Found this in the company of another geocaching family. Interestingly both GPSr's initially took us to a spot somewhat to the south, but later settled down at the right coords. I wonder why. Nice big box allowed us to drop off the Pig ("Swine Flu") TB.
25-Jul-09
An easy find once the GPSr settled down - the trees certainly don't make it easy. The cache was quite soggy. Perhaps it is not sufficiently water-tight?
Tried for this one after a cross-country running event at nearby Haileybury but had no luck. GPSr was playing up a bit but that can't really explain it. Normally we find these quickly. There was some evidence of pruning/grass cutting around where I suspect GZ was - could it be that this one has gone? Or did I just have a bad day?
19-Jul-09
The history around this cache (and a few others around Wonthaggi) is terrific. We have passed this spot often without stopping. Find was straightforward...
Fourth of four caches on this day. We have seen this spectacular building often from a distance. I didn't know we could get this close. The history in this area is fantastic.
These wind turbines are such a landmark in this area. I had previously tried to find them but without luck, so thanks for bringing us here. They are just as spectacular up close. The find was easy (perhaps too easy). Took large pig TB and geocoin.
18-Jul-09
We made this one trickier than it needed to be. The GPSr was consistently pointing a certain distance to the east, which placed it somewhere on the train tracks. Once we had ruled out the other side, the find was easy.
12-Jul-09
Another easy find (OK, almost too easy, I should discourage my kids from using the clues!). Fifth of six on this day.
Wow. I didn't know this monument to engineering existed. A great location for a cache. Fourth of six finds on this day.
A great location for a cache. We didn't have problems getting to GZ, apart from the usual tricks played by trees. The last of six finds on our short blitz of caches in northern Nunawading.
Another easy find, thanks. My six year old found it and was very excited with himself...
30-Jun-09
On a day when the mountain was closed (no skiing) we tried geocaching instead. This was a nice easy find in a "landmark" location. Thanks.
Road and mountain were closed due to snow, but we could still drive up to this location. We walked further up the mountain to enjoy playing in the snow. This was one of the few times when the GPSr took us directly to the spot (i.e., with no error), which was fortunate given that the ground cover leaves plenty of room to hide something. The water feature is spectacular and worth the trip alone.
14-Jun-09
Dbigg and family found this one in the company of the Phillips family. Actually, it was a bit too easy to find. We tried to hide it a bit better. TNLN.
02-Jan-09
We had to go back to this one again seven months later (19 July 2009) to recall when we found it the first time. Sure enough we found our log entry. Slightly harder to find this time. Still a good location.
