So clever! Took us a while but it was worth the search! Reading some of the other activity helped us! Thanks, great hide!

Searched where we thought it should be for ages!!! Mr 9 eventually found it on the ground. Have reattached where we assume it should have been!

Very clever hide! Beautiful day for a bike ride down the coastal pathway with the kids. We hadn't been geo caching for ages so we were thrilled to discover this new one, close to home. So nice to find a bigger cache too. Kids want to go back to put some goodies in there!

Out for a family bike ride and we decided to try find this one again, having tried once before, but having nothing to hand to reach at that time, we had been unsuccessful. This time we thought we'd lift one of the kids up .. but no, they freaked out. So there was only one option ... use one of the bikes! 3 little swaps inside were admired and put back by the kids, log signed and cache returned. Very cool!
Thanks, really pleased to have got this one!

We had a go at finding this a few weeks ago but there was too much snow and the southerly was too cold for us! Today, Mr 4 and I decided to have another go. A speedy trip up on the gondola.. saw 2 sheep on the way up. Then a wee wander around and quickly found the cache! Mr 4 was amazed to be able to hear the sounds of the time tunnel from GZ. Mr 4 swapped the only piece of swag .. a small plastic pallet thing for a zip lock bag of water balloons! The log book is slightly damp but still use able. Enjoyed a cuppa and hot chips in the cafe afterwards!

What a cute wee find! Very clever camo! We took our friend with us on this geocaching adventure, it was her first find. Picked up some rubbish on our way out. Thanks for this clever hide!

What clever hide! Took about 10 mins of searching then suddenly spotted the likely spot! Bingo! 2 containers, each with a log book .. so signed both!

So stoked to have found this on our second try. Not sure how we missed it on our first visit! Mr 3 years was thrilled to collect a whistle from this cache. We left a zip lock bag with a soap making base and instructions for making soap!

Visiting from christchurch and geocaching with our Taranaki cuzzies. 4 excited kids made some swaps with the swag here. Great to find a bigger cache for treasures. Some stunning huge plants along the pathway here. We don't get these lush, giant specimens in dry canterbury. Thanks for leading us to this secluded, beautiful spot.
I forgot to say in my other post ... needs a new log sheet. Current one is full!
3 visits and we finally found it thanks to an extra hint from the Cache Owner (thanks very much!) Very tricky wee hide! Glad to have found it though, as we head back to christchurch tomorrow and would hate to have left without getting this one!

Beautiful cool setting for a bit of geocaching on a hot day! Visiting from christchurch and explored this area with our Taranaki cuzzies. Cute hide, great clue!
A great climb for this fun find. Visiting from christchurch and geocaching with our Taranaki cuzzies. Really enjoyed having morning tea at this spot and enjoying the view.
A bit of fossicking around and this cache was soon in hand! Beautiful view over the lake. Visiting from christchurch and geocaching with our Taranaki cuzzies!
We were hot and bothered after a morning of geocaching, so probably only spent 10 mins looking for this one. Will be back for a better look!!!

What a clever hide! We're visiting from christchurch and geocaching with our Taranaki cuzzies. Had fun finding this one!
Oh my gosh, this is the coolest cache we've ever found. So clever, obviously a lot of effort has gone into creating this. We are up here visiting from christchurch and introduced our Taranaki cuzzies to geocaching with this cache. What a hard act to follow!
What a spectacular view!! Loved this hide. Visiting from christchurch and took some of the Taranaki Whanau up here, they'd never been up here before. Fantastic view of the mountain today.

A per previous entries, coordinates are about 12 metres off. Great spot though! Visiting from christchurch so great to see some of the beautiful north island west cost!
What a cool cache!! Visiting from christchurch and this is our first north island cache. We figured out what we were looking for so didn't take long. Love it! Ps log is full.

Sorry for double post, don't know how to edit my other post. A few comments. Container much smaller than expected. IMO the terrain is harder than recorded, lots of trees down & pine needles make track slippery. Cache close to quite a big drop, so definitely care needed with young ones. Log seems to have gone (see my photo for the photo of contents of the cache). Really loved the area though. Have lived in this area most of Mt life and never knew of this!
Definitely needs maintainance. Fun find though! Found with elder wendy.
Searched with elder wendy. Looked for ages with 4 kids helping, then again after a play in the playground. Couldn't find it today. Will have another go another day.

Nice easy find. My 3 year old was thrilled he found it by himself!

Found what I think was the likely hiding place, a hole under a tree root, but nothing there. Perhaps I didn't have the right place ...
