Took ages to find it but we were trying too hard. Initially hunted at the wrong end. Looked like a small discarded object. Rough and 'reddy'.

Filling in a couple of hours while down at Goolwa for the day. Sat and enjoyed the view and scouted around and low. What do you know? There it was!
