Logs for Humpler

14-May-18
Wink

Vielen Dank für's Verstecken

Oh, what a great Tour!
Together with Scherlog I went this summer on a great Tour through the Baltic states and Finland!
Four days ... full program!
The cities Tallinn, Helsinki, Riga and a lot of landscape in Estonia, Latvia, Finland and Litvania!
I will write less english words, but I will post a lot of photos instead! OK?
Anyway:
Many thanks to all owners for placing the caches and showing the great places!

Vier Tage ... volles Programm!
Wirklich sehr beeindruckend!!!
Pustekuchen!

Our Team:
Simson70, Team Countersign, Marpl & Scherlog and Humpler

The main goal:
Jersey and Guernsey

Other touristical Highlights:
Mont Saint Michele
Bayeux Tapestry
D-Day memorial

Statistical Highlights:
Our first caches behind the Prime meridian!
FTF on Jersey!
We found Caches in all villages on Jersey!
Two new countries!
Six new régions and about 15 new départements in France!
Six countries at one day!

In my logs there will be less words but more pictures. Because I was the driver, many containers had been found by the others. For me it was difficult enough to drive on the left hand side and to find a place for stopping the car. There are really a lot of walls on Jersey and the streets are really not very wide.
But I enjoyed the Trip!
Great landscapeSmile, great weatherBig Grin, great beerRazz!!!

Some words for this Cache:
We found this cache on the fourth (and last) day of our tour. After leaving Jersey we went to Mont Saint Michele. In the summer it is very crowdy. So we didn't spend much time there. Our next longer stop was the Bayeux Tapestry. Very interesting! Simson70 could tell us a lot about the tapestery, so we didn't need an audioguide. The last highlight was the Omaha Beach.
Than we started our looooooong way home!

Thanks to all cacheowners!!!
