FOUND IT!!!

I'm town for the Australian Open and I managed to grab a few caches along the way.

Found this one while walking around beautiful Melbourne CBD with cousins, nephews, and nieces. We found GZ without much trouble, and while I was reading the description one of my nieces asks "Is this it?" while pointing to the hidden container.

After a good laugh, I signed the log, we dropped off some Chilean coins, and replaced as found.

Caches and log in great shape. Thank you for bringing us to this beautiful place.

FOUND IT!!!

On vacation from the States and we spent the day sightseeing around the area.

Had a great time with my "muggle" family as we saw the sights and I "snuk around" finding the information that I needed to complete this virtual.

I found Joseph Conrad. I remember reading The Heart of Darkness back from my school days. I didn't enjoy it as much then, but later on when I found out that Francis Ford Coppola adapted it to make Apocalypse Now I became more appreciative of it.

Thank you for bringing us here and for this awesome Virtual Cache!

FOUND IT!!!!

Oh man, what an adventure!

This began back in January while camping at Cachapalooza 7 with antimony13. She hand't found this cache either, so we planned to make the trip over and get it together. I mentioned that I was fast approaching my 2,000 find, and that I thought this would make a very cool find for this milestone.

Fast forward to this week, and we coordinated to make the drive across today and grab this "iconic" cache. SnookingGood was able to join us as well, and at the last minute scarletthehorse jumped at the chance for a Geocaching road trip. So, off we go and make the drive across. The construction slowed us down, but soon we were arriving at the park entrance. We checked in with the ranger and headed out to the bike trail entrance.

After we unloaded the bikes, we began the short trip over to GZ. The day was perfect...sunny and cool, the trail was dry, and best of all - no mosquitoes! Once we got close to GZ, we parked the bikes and began the short walk over. We soon had our coveted prize in our hands and celebrated finding Florida's Oldest GeoCache. We signed the log, took some pictures, dropped off some TB's, and replaced the container as found.

Thanks for maintaining this awesome cache!

PS: Not that I needed it, but there goes another square in the Florida Bingo Challenge!
