I'd teamed up with Trumpkin-NZ for the UK version of this multi cache, so it was great to be able to return the favour when he asked me to find the final co-ordinates for this cache hidden in the UK! It's been fun working with another geocacher on the other side of the world. Thanks Agazo and waterfieldusa!

Greetings from the UK! A difficult decision here - Barry Humphries, Clive James and Arthur Conan Doyle ..... and the winner is ........ Arthur Conan Doyle! He practised as a GP from 1882 until 1890 in Portsmouth and wrote the first two Sherlock Holmes novels there. Quite fitting that this is my last cache in Australia before flying home this evening ..... to Portsmouth! TFTC. Have a favourite point. Photograph attached - feet only because I use my iPhone as a gps and camera.

Greetings from the UK! After an enjoyable afternoon at the aquarium, we headed over the bridge and realised there was time for another cache. Quick find by Eldest Son. TFTC. Off to Hurricane's Grill for a meal with my brother and sister-in-law to mark the end of our holiday in Australia.

Greetings from the UK! Great cache to find as we walked from our hotel to Darling Harbour in the "winter" sunshine. The hint made perfect sense when we arrived at GZ and the cache was quickly located. TFTC. Log book needs replacing asap.

Greetings from the UK! Worked out the necessary co-ordinates, and found the right area using the handy hint. Lots of muggles around today, so Eldest Son used the "advantage point" to locate the cache, which made it much easier. TFTC.

Greetings from the UK! Heading back to the hotel this evening, it was hard to resist finding one more cache. Youngest Son (the reluctant geocacher) spotted this one - sneaky little hide. TFTC. Log book needs replacing.

Greetings from the UK! Time for a quick cache before heading to the nearby museum. Quick find, once we realised what a taperline is! TFTC. Had to ask someone sitting in the park if I could borrow their pen, much to the embarrassment of my children!

Greetings from the UK! This morning, we climbed the Coat Hanger, so Eldest Son and Youngest Son agreed that this was the cache to find before heading off to the Pylon. Quick find, in between muggles. TFTC. Loved walking across the bridge - beautiful views at this level too. Have another favourite point.

Greetings from the UK! Today, we were travelling from Newcastle to Sydney, so my brother recommended a detour to Palm Beach. Eldest Son and Youngest Son were thrilled to watch some "Home and Away" filming too.

What a fabulous Sunday in Australia with my brother and sister-in-law. Walked along Stockton Beach, found the Adolphe cache, then came across on the ferry. Had some yummy burgers for lunch, then continued along to Nobbys Head in the "winter" sunshine. Couldn't resist walking along the other breakwater to find another cache. Quick find at GZ, TFTC. Travelling today from Byron Bay back to Newcastle, so we stopped here to find the cache and enjoy our last views over the bay. Totally agree with the cache name - it's the best view in Australia. TFTC, quick find, in between muggles.

Busy day today. Went sea kayaking at Byron Bay, then headed over to Nimbin for the afternoon. On the way back to Byron Bay I remembered that I needed a cache to fill an empty square on my stats grid. Arrived at the Village Park just as it was getting dark, so we raced to GZ. My gps was bouncing around all over the place, but Eldest Son managed to find the cache. TFTC. Greetings from the UK!

Today we are travelling from Newcastle to Byron Bay, so I have persuaded the family that we need to find a few geocaches to break up the journey. Quick find here, although it did take us ages to realise that we didn't need to open the unique container! Favourite point from Eldest Son for all the laughter it created, TFTC.

Travelling from Newcastle to Byron Bay today, so persuaded the family that we needed to find some geocaches to break up the journey. Other Half and Youngest Son went off to get some coffee, while Eldest Son and I raced to GZ. We spotted the obvious place, but quickly realised that we needed back up. Working as a team, we grabbed the cache .... have a favourite point for creativity and enjoyment!

Travelling up from Newcastle to Byron Bay today, so persuaded the family that we needed to do some geocaching to break up the journey. Took a little while to find this one as the gps was bouncing around all over the place. I thought I'd have to log it as a DNF, and started sorting out the packed lunch for everyone, when Youngest Son (the reluctant geocacher) quietly said "found it". TFTC, sneaky little container. We had a quick look for this cache, before noticing a muggle heading straight for us .... so we huddled around the iPhone and "discussed" which way next. The friendly muggle stopped, and said "have you found it yet?" ..... turned out to be Yella Belly, the CO! Lovely to meet you! Enjoyed a quick chat before he headed back to his gardening. TFTC. Greetings from the UK.

Our first find in Australia, after a long flight from the UK. Technically, it's 12th August 2013 here, just gone 8am, but we are caching in UK time in order to fill an empty square on my stats grid for a 365 challenge. Can't wait another year to claim this cache, just because I didn't pay attention to the time difference when booking the flights! Haven't found one like this in the UK - the clue made complete sense once we found the cache. TFTC. Off to Newcastle now to see my brother and his wife ......
