Logs for J&G on the go

Nice walk, great hint. Hoped to leave a Tb that we picked up in USA, but cache too small.
Lovely walk and so happy for a regular size cache. Dropping TB that we picked up in Tennessee. Happy new year to you, greetings from California, and thanks for the cache.
Thanks for placing cache here along the garden path. Wouldn’t have stopped at this lake otherwise. This is one of the reasons we cache, being led to little special places.

Delay in logging this find until getting back to our home country. Had a great day at the Saturday market, walking the waterfront area and getting a couple of Tassie caches. Greetings from California.
It was a toughie to dislodge, but we did it. This was a great day to walk around some of the downtown area and get a few Tassie caches. TFTC, Greetings from California.
Here in the area for the Saturday market. Good to find a cache as well. We are from sunny California, but visiting Tas with Roqkbound, and enjoying down under. This is one place in the world I would like to live. TFTC

Ditto to the two below logs. And I really was looking 'cause I'm on the ammo can quest for Scooberts challenge, so I gave this more than a quick hunt.

What a beautiful cove, worth the 45 min walk out. After doing all the requirements for the earth cache here it was nice to have a cache to actually sign! The beaches here on north island are lovely and what a great way to finish our vacation before heading to the airport and flying back to California. T geocoin, L geocoin. TFTC it was a nice hide.
On our way to hot water beach and this cache begged us to stop and take a break. Glad for the hint and walked right to it. T blue duck to play in the hot water pool, L pen. TFTC
WHAT A VIEW absolutely great time here looking out and then the hike to Cathedral Cove. Had a great day, TNLN
Reminds us Discovery Bay near Stockton California where we almost bought a place, but then decided to sell the boat and moved up hill instead. Did bring back wonderful memories. Nice hide, TNLN SL
Last few days in NZ before returning to California and we decided to stay in lovely Tairua till time to head for the airport. Lovely view of the bay and ocean, wish I could stay. Thanks. TNLN SL

Last few days in NZ before returning to California and we decided to stay in lovely Tairu till time to head for the airport. As usual during this trip I picked the harder way to this cache and dear G puts on a smile and follows. Lovely view and well worth the exercise to get here. Thanks. TNLN SL
Last few days in NZ before returning to California and we decided to stay in lovely Tairu till time to head for the airport. As usual during this trip I picked the hard way to this cache and dear G puts on a smile and follows. G does not enjoy steep climbs. So when we got to the top I had to do the creepy crawly to get the cache. I deserved that. Lovely view and well worth the exercise to get here. Thanks. TNLN SL
Tried two days in a row and still no smile, and especially disappointing for G since he does not like to climb without a reward at the end. Gone? Or are the geosenses on vacation too? I guess we go back to California without this one to our credit... but we did get to enjoy a fabulous view, (twice) so Thanks for getting us to the top of the hill.

Started out for this cache while it was raining so we didn't have any company until it was signed and replaced. This is a marvelous place to see all the geothermal pools and mud pots. How many are there in a 75 meter radius? Lovely. This park was on my to do list and how fortunate that there are 3 caches here. It would make me nervous if I lived in one of the nearby houses just in case a new hot spot came up under my floor.
Started out for this cache while it was raining so we didn't see anyone until it was replaced. However only a couple of trackables were in here, did earlier viewer come and help himself? Raining and no one about so I stumbled around on the wrong side while G went and explored less brushy access. I came out of the brush saying I wasn't doing this because it meant crossing the water, so G says why not use the bridge. But why go the sensible way when I can make it harder? With G leading over nice grass and no brush we arrived at a nicely hidden cache. SL.
On our way out of town but there are still a few caches before it is road time. Nice little walk under the trees but my Rhino is good and coords true, so in a very short time the cache is ours. Cache was wet but we could still sign. TNLN SL
If it's Sunday, this must be Rotorua. We have been underway for more than 3 weeks and the trip is nearing the end and we are still seeing the most beautiful sights, meeting lovely New Zealanders. Mixed showers and sun so a quick grab of this, run back to the car and sign log then replace. Didn't have to worry about being seen it's raining right now. Always nice to have caches to honor those who served. Thanks.
What a grand sight that water rushing down through the narrows. And how can you beat there being 3 caches in such close order. We did the earthcache and the falls yesterday, but got sidetracked and didn't go up river, so back today while on the way out of town. Nice walk and before I actually looked at my GPS I mentioned to patient hubby that this would be a perfect place for a cache... then GPS beeped proximity and we were on the hunt. Easy find, thanks. T GeoCide coin and L pickle coin.

WOW beautiful what a sight. Driving up through all those pipes was surreal.
Started our sightseeing/caching day at Taupo with a beautiful botanical garden drive. Some sprinkles but not enough to dampen our enjoyment of the flowers and yes the view! Nice cache here and it was a search... GPS was off from find by a good 20 feet so we hunted a bit, and wouldn't have found it but for the hint. Nice camo job. T TB for a move onward.
What a sight, amazing how much noise the steam makes. Came here to do the earthcache and enjoyed one to sign also. Good hide. TNLN SL

Nice walk beside the river and of course always nice to have a cache on the way. T TB to help it on it's journey North.
Wonderful Awesome, This was really great. Took several walks in different directions from this point and enjoyed the power of the river and falls.
We really love doing earthcaches because we learn so much. This was double treat, earthquake info and a great walk through town. Thanks for the lesson.
Powerful sound that the falls make, this was quite different from most falls, unique in the power created by the narrows. Saw one of the tour boats come up as we were here. Nice hide. Log is almost full. TFTC
Nice walk down to the river. The stream next to the trail was a lovely warm temp and tempting to enjoy the waters, but we had a goal. Found the cache, exchanged travel bugs, T Fred, L Princess. Then we continued down to the river and had a nice rest. On the way up we took the wrong trail and had to do a little backtracking. Now if I had been looking at the GPS instead of the trees and ferns, we could have saved some up and down and up again. Oh well, detours are the J&G way. Nice cache.

If only every day could be as beautiful as today, loved driving these windy roads and went right to the cache. T nothing but L Eeyore TB which I picked up at Lake Tahoe, Nevada. As we were ready to leave a neighbor asked if we had found it and we spent a while chatting. Such friendly folks here in NZ. TFTC
Wonderful walk especially if you take the long way which is what I always seem to do. The steps down to the river and then all of the overhanging cliffs and huge cleft in the rocks, WOW. We finally got to "the" rock and easily found the cache then continued on out to some like it hot. Will come back tomorrow and sit in the hot river. This is a beautiful area, Thanks for bringing us out here after our long drive from the coast. TNLN
What a wonderful place, I love these hot springs! We are from California and have hot pools at Mammouth Ski area, different from here, these are better. The pools were occupied so we will come back tomorrow afternoon and after a few walks for caching, getting into the hot water will be so welcome. Found cache easily, traded swag. TFTC
Lovely walk and even longer if you are like me and decide to park at the top of the hill and take the path on the left. So it was all the way down then back up to the cache, but we do this regularly (take the longer way), and it was nice to meet some of the people out walking. No TB here, TNLN. SL.

Absolutely a road to nowhere! Wow this got us walking and walking. All the way out and no way to get to GZ, so half way back till we found a way, then back out and finally our reward!!! Lots of trackables it was a hard choice. We have a friend going down to the Ice next month, but no way of getting the coin to her,so we took the monopoly TB. Will take it back to California with us. Well after that walk we decided it was time to treat ourselves to a nice meal. Went to Boardwalk Beach Bar in Napier and had kangaroo! Good day TFTC

Starting our time in North Island part of New Zealand now with Wellington. Have a few caches to do before we head up towards Napier. This was a nice spot to walk and view the harbor. Clever hide. We went into the museum and enjoyed that too. TFTC SL

Lovely walk, sunny and perfect. Of course I had to make it much longer than necessary, like waliking over the top of the hill, but good exercise. Enjoying the day and tomorrow it's of to Wellington. TFTC TNLN
Lovely walk, sunny and perfect. Nice cache, we didn't have anything to put in it, and the TB must have gotten taken by an earlier visitor. Enjoying the day and tomorrow it's of to Wellington. TFTC
