Just out on a walkabout on my last full day in Canada. Work waas done early so I waas able to visit some of the local attractions and caches. On approach the coords were within five feet and when I placed Gypsy on the pedestal the numbers started going up?? I snapped a picture at about 11 feet aka approx. 3 meters
Thanks for the fun.

WooHoo!! FTF!! [white]Happy Danceâ„¢[/white]
Saw this one pop up last night almost in my backyard but decided to wait till morning. I know how those sheriffs can be if they catch you in a park at night Stopped by about 7am for a nice early morning stroll on some very familiar territory. Aaanni pointed and I looked what's this [?] a cache with a blank loggbook, very cool Now that I'm home and loogging online I just realised that I forgot to date the entry, [blue]DOH!![/blue] [B)]
Thanks for the fun cache.

Stopped by with a small contingent of the moderately Obsessed Caching Group It was fun walking old town this evening with a bunch of friends and of course caching. Walked right up and made the grab almost oopsie, was that it??? Used the flashlight to verify that it was indeed the cache and grabbed it for real. Nice cammo.

Batteries were getting low while I was walking across the park so I turned off Aanni and guesstimated the location, got there and checked the gps once more and I was only off by 150 feet [B)] luckily they lasted just long enough for a find.

Note: Coords were averaged 50 times with a accuracy of 14.5 feet by Aanni my trusty geotrained aardvark.

This cache was close to home so we decided to "Come On Over" I was using Aanni (my geocache trained aardvark) and Mc5 was using Maggi and we both zeroed out at the same place, always a good sign and sho nuf the cache was in the last place we looked. Took nothing and left a small piece of green [8]Kryptonite[8]
Thanks for the fun cache close to home.

After a day of work and chores it was time for our cache of the day and what better one than this? Close to home and some interesting history to go along with it. Mc5 and I armed only with the print out and Aani (my geocached trained aardvark) decided why not. Found parking quick enough and proceeded through the stages until the steel poles [B)] just couldn't seem to get that one, maybe we [8]juxtaposed[8] a number or two [B)] From there made an assumption or two (grr couldn't find the rock stage either). Oh well we are here out here, might as take a look see. And what do you know Aanni still sniffed this one out of it's hiding spot, good girl The garmin self stamping mode didn't work so well this time so I filled some of it in with pen, and Mc5's stamp was a rock although it looks much more like a constellation (both hobbies of hers so it still works).
Thanks for the fun cache and the history behind it

Annie my geocache trained bodacious aarvark kept pointing at the spot but I was apprehensive due to all the [8]freakin[8] muggles (and even a few very destitute looking ones circumjacent to the cache area. Gathered up all the gumption I could muster then tucked in my garanimal monkey Tshirt and went for it. Gotcha Found it in the last place I looked When it was all said and sat back in my truck and enjoyed the nice cool effervescence of my mint julep
Thanks for the challengs.

After work I had just enough time to catch a bodacious cache or two. Found the first few spots right on cue but then I took something too literal as I'm liken to do [B)] which put me on the wrong trail. Knowing my prepencity for such things found the error of my ways and found the cache soon after.
Thanks for the fun cache.

Ok, are you ready for the next challenge [?]
Since I have always liked superstitions, phobias and Halloween I try to buck the trend whenever possible. While pondering the full moon last night it came to me what the next challenge should be.
First; There must be 13 different supersticious items or activities or any mix thereof, like walking under a ladder carrying a black cat, broken mirror, spilled milk, spilled salt, tarot card, pentagram..........
Please explain all the superstitions since some may be a little more obscure than others.
Second; A costume of some sort (on a living being, yes it can be your black cat or other pet), yes even just a simple Mardi gras mask will do but let's get creative.
Third; A gps
Pictures can be split up as long as the gps and a part of the costume (such as a gloved skeleton hand) is in each picture.
Break a leg,
Jeo

GCQMV6
The only problem though is that you won't recognize anyone since we'll all be in costumes Now to go dust off all those old gps units in the back of the closet.

Great time for a hike and to go caching. The flowers were in bloom, the water was running, the grass was green and there was nice cool breeze. We came by here doing a virtual cache GCDD59 and I started wondering if it had been logged yet here, checked with Boulter's mileage chart and it hadn't

Great job Carecachers, great food, great cachers and great fun. I wanted to stay for the Rage @9pm but they added a new rule when they saw me "No Kilts" Now to see if we can get some pictures of the crown and the scepter.

Sorry to see this one go. I've had these pictures awhile so I hope it's ok to log it.
I went and found a movie location for the action film "xXx" starring Vin Diesel and Samuel Jackson. Within the first ten minutes of the movie Vin Diesel steals a corvette and jumps it off this bridge while he jumps out and parachutes down.
ThanxXx

This is Nimbus Dam on Lake Natomas. It's used for hydroelectric, flood control, fish hatchery and diverts water to the aquaduct for other parts of California. I'm including pictures of the old Folsom Dam (over 100 years old) but since it was disabled when the new Folsom Dam was built it does not qualify for this cache.
Thanks for the cache.
