Now Fridays happen to be our grandpup sitting days, so we set off a bit early to try and pick up a cache on the way. Today is blank on the calendar and as it is drizzling we thought just to pick up the one.
Ah Hello Gladstone 8 ! We see you have 2 multicaches in Theddingworth, so we will save the other one for a different Friday.
We parked the car where you indicated on the map and off we went to the church. Pretty church with a fair few Cricks as permanent residents! Found the correct one and did the maths, loaded the coordinates and looked to see in which direction you were sending us! All we can say is ....... ha ha! Trotted towards the cache and soon found it and logged it. Thanks very much - the rain has eased and the birds are singing again. All is well - now off the the grandpup!

Off towards Mickleton today and heading for a night of feasting at the famous ( or infamous!) Pudding Club ! So to try to work off a few calories before the puds we thought we would cache our way down . Sort of spoiled that idea by having a snackette in Waitrose enroute - oh dear!
There are some stunning old stone walls around a lot of these beautiful houses! Would love to see if the gardens have benefitted from the sunny shelter the walls offer! Thanks for this cache. Exactly where you said it was .

Interesting church here. Looks like they didn't use local stone to build? And the white block stone effect is really unusual - stands out! Not sure if I like it or not! Cache is spot on . Thanks

On our way back from pup sitting! So hope to get one or two on the way - it all helps with the pirate crew!
Wanted to look for this one in particular because we wanted to visit this village just to see what it was like. Pretty church! What looked to be very simple turned out to be more challenging! Spent 20 minutes searching in one area . Then scratched our heads and walked towards the car . Jim said"wait a minute! Just want to check something!" And two minutes later he had the cache. Thanks for this cache!
