Loved this series. No probs sorting out the coords. This one was a little more challenging to get to due to my mobility - I was determined, I could see where I had to get to! No muggles near sunset meant I was able to take my time, soon had the prize in hand' Then a very careful retreat, lol. TFTC

Down for the weekend Dunedin 2024 Mega with ThatDarnBear and TrinityNZ. Had just spent the day chasing Albatross and oldies caches. A Gypsie Caravan Fair had set its self up in original gc event spot so we just followed the crowd walking to the new coords. What a well turned out event!Thanks to the organisers for putting on this event - so looking forward to the rest of the weekend, its my first Mega [Photo attached of a bit of action at the gz] 

***LOST*** Pink glasses case and GC branded pen at or near gz. Plse message me if either are found. Thx Wow what a drive - sleet started then as we got higher the landscape was covered with light snow. Loved the great views from GC. A fav point from me. TFTC 

Chasing "oldies" while down in Dunedin for the 2024 Mega with ThatDarnBear and TrinityNZ. A wet and cold day. A road hazard just before reaching the cache meant we had to back track and try from another direction, lol. TFTC  

The sun was getting ready to set, so its rays shone through the bush highlighting the cache, lol. Loved the long deep rolling sound of the waves and end of day birdsong. A quick find nicely tucked away off track. TFTC  

Loving this series. An easy find even with spring growth covering the gz area. Lots of kid friendly swappables to be had. Surprisingly had the place to myself on the sunny warm late afternoon. TFTC  

What a great adventure with a neat gang of crazy people - a very cool location. Loved it! We all had different levels of agility, those who were more able helped those who needed extra ooomph in those tricky spots - phew thank you! Needed this one for a 'Week Day' Challenge with the final to be found at the Dunedin Mega 2024 (GCA2R3E). Did this later in the evening, thankfully light traffic and no pedestrian muggles made for a quick park and grab under torch light. All good here. TFTC  

Needed this one for a Week Day Challenge with the final to be found while down at the Dunedin Mega 2024 (GCA2R3E). Had visited the day before with Itchyfeet so was able to scope this out for today, popped by just as the sun was going down. Not a muggle in sight so a quick retrieve and off I went to hunt down two more Multis for the challenge. Loved this neat suburban cache. TFTC  

A neat location with the sun pouring in until setting,. Yummy food - pulled pork tacos. And of couse great company! TFTE taybeenz  

The original field puzzle cache has unfortunately been kidnapped, with no sightings or ransom demands. Possible suspects ... roadworkers from the nearby road widening construction area, a couple of road cones are still present.This cache has now been reactivated - but without the field puzzle. It has been replaced with the same cache type as used in the rest of the Swifty series. The D/T rating will remain as posted so it won't compromise stats for those who have already found it.If the replacement cache survives for a length of time the original field puzzle v2 will return (a notice will be posted when/if this happens). Please PM me if any sightings happen in the mean time, lol.Thanks for your patience  

A perfect day for a wee stroll with muggles mum and to gather info to earn the Intetnational Earthcache Day souvenir. Past plantings are being dwarfed by spring growth of grass. In the distance there's a marked line where land has been groomed and new planting is taking place thanks to enthusiastic local volunteers.As a bonus I came into possession of a lonely cache (archived/muggled?) near the Nursery/Operations area - now just need to figure out who the CO is - last logged 29/06/2019.Answers have been submitted. Great catching up with CO, sorry Welly weather a luttle grey. Those Discovery tags will be useful for a challenge cache that can be claimed down in Dunedin at the Oct Mega. Hope to see you there, safe and fun travels

Another really good Wellywood Wednesday ... great food, great venue, great conversation. The BBQ ribs devine. The Publican so strick on age rules we almost lost one of our 21yr old attendee's! It was neat seeing the newbies really getting into planning their next challenges. Thx for organising The Seagnoid.

Another great event, this time to celebrate National Geocaching day - a souvenir earnt! Then off with the masses to chase some FTFs put out to celebrate the occasion. TFTE tmann421

{FTF} with Taybeenz. Had enjoyed a Wellywood event in which the CO released this puzzle. Various attendees spent time in huddles working thru the clues. Our wee group which included Taybeenz and TrinityNZ forged thru this, TrinityNZ was a power house that broke the back for this one. Eventually we had just a few left but decided it would need to be solved outside of the event. On my way home and to to drop off a misplaced hat from the event to Taybeenz I received a phone call from him - he had made the final leap and solved the puzzle! He told me to pull over he was on his way to chase the FTF and he would pick me up where i was parked, I was just 1min around from the corner from his house! Back into town we zipped. A quick find at GZ, then some muggles parked up next to us so returned the cache in a slightly more hidden spot just in case. Loved this cache that really reflected CO's obsession. Favourite point. Then a very quick find and sign was had as a FTF had just been released nearby and we we keen to "go for it". Great spot for a cache. TFTC

RIP Yellow Car - have been notified the whole cache construction has disappeared, including field puzzle. A road cone has been left in its place, a calling card of a sort perhaps, hmmm?Since this site appears to have been muggled the cache location maybe permanently compromised? Road works are occuring in general area too. Will need to investigate further - planning to do this in a couple of weeks. Will post again then with an update, apologies for any inconvenience to those chasing the Nifty Swifty geoart series.Do PM me if you have any queries until then.Thanks. JustlookingOO
