24-May-10
Team Button P. Just me and the little one camping at Paynesville. Spending a nice sunny day cycling and caching on Raymond Island. What a beautiful view. Had a great day caching although we didn't find all the caches on Raymond Island we hada great day cycling around. Next time the whole family will come along.

Team Button P. Night time search. Just me and the little one camping at Paynesville.

04-Apr-10
Lots of muggles around but we managed to complete the operation of logging our visit, with out being noticed.

03-Apr-10
Second night time cach. A nice walk after dinner, with darkness upon us and resorting to torch light, it took one of our new companions to find the cach, this was their first find, very exciting. Here we placed the Travel Bug 948817 River Lining Leather.

02-Apr-10
Yes finally found it.

This was our first night time search. With headtorches on and new friends with us we went in search of the cach. The kids were very excited, it didn't take long to find even under the cover of darkness. As there were a lot of muggles around the cover of darkness certainly made it easy to conduct the covert operation of logging our discovery and leaving a button.

Great place to stop thanks for putting the cach here as it gave us a reason to stop.

30-Mar-10
After much research and number substitition we finally came up with a location that we thought would be the place of the cach. Our efforts paid off. This was the second cach found by Team Button P and Team Thomas.

29-Mar-10
Easy find great location. Looking forward to come back and ride the whole Rail Trail.

Great hiding spot it took a while to find but we got there in the end.

This was the first cach that we found with Team Thomas. Beautiful views. From this cach we moved a travel bug. The details are as followed Travel Bug 948817 River lining leather. We placed the travel bug in a cach located at Malacoota.

07-Mar-10
This took a bit of searching to find but we finally found it.

The best thing about GEO Caching is that it gives the kids something to look forward to when they are made to walk everywhere by the parents.

We found this one but it had been muggled. We found the note book and a plastic bag in which it belonged, but the rest of the cach had been thrown away.

We searched for ages for this one but we didn't manage to find it, next time we are in Portland we will have another look.

My wife found this one all by herself, as i was out surfing, she decided to go for a walk out to the point to look for the cach.

An Easy Drive By

07-Feb-10
Nice view

Lucky we had our little eagle eyed child with us as we would never had found it.

Good spot, it took dad to find this one.

Easy Find.

Once we made it to the right look out we found it straight away.

26-Jan-10
Easy find on second attempt. Having a GPS certainly helps.

This one took a little bit of searching but we finally found it. This was our second attempt. A GPS certainly made the difference.

22-Jan-10
Easy find for Geokids.

Tricky multi-cache. Were successful with working out the second set of co-ordinates for the multi-cache, but as we were using a NAVMAN with different GPS settings, then had to go back home to log back on to convert the new co-ordinates into something the NAVMAN could relate to. Got their in the end, and came up with the find en-route to airport to fly back home to VIC.

21-Jan-10
Relatively easy find for a bunch of Geokids roaming around. What was not so nice was the find of needles and syringes nearby, so all future cachers tread carefully.

Easy find very close to where I grew up. Geokids enjoyed the walk to locate.

20-Jan-10
Third time lucky to find this cache. Attempted once without any GPS assistance. Realised after second attempt with only using a NAVMAN that we need converted co-ordinates. Got there on the third.

30-Dec-09
Finally dad got find one. Great spot.

29-Dec-09
We were introducing new friends to caching and this one was there first find.

GP found this one before the rest of the family even got close to the location.

28-Dec-09
There where a lot of muggles around but I don't think any saw us. We always stop at Bruthen anytime we are travelling that way for a pie or a coffee.

23-Dec-09
Little GP found this one straight away.

Lucky we had GP with us, as I had placed my hand on it and didn't realise that it was the cache. Great spot.
