Logs for Katy Kate

After nearly 5 months of living and working in toowoomba my irish friend and I finally made our way to the visitor information centre to see what's going on in and around the beautiful garden City. Found a great selection of "to dos", very nice staff as well as souvenirs...knew there had to be a cache somewhere close by. The hints hidden in the comments were very helpful. After a quick search my irish friend (first time of geocaching for her!) shouts out loudly "I found it!" (Yes, I've told her about Muggles etc. ) luckily there was no one around. This is the first stop for my first trackable which came all the way from Germany to Australia. The day ended with two big smiles on our faces and another one on my geomap.
TFTC! We found it on the 6th of August 2015.

I completely forgot about logging this one...about a month ago I was on a road trip with my german friend from the hostel. I had three days off work and my friend was about to take off to fiJi. We decided to go to the gold coast for a few days. Another friend (backpacker from the UK) told us about this beautiful national park with lots of waterfalls and stunning lookouts we shouldn't miss out on. So this is how we ended up going to springBrook NP. Unfortunately my phone reception was really bad up there. This was the only cache that worked and luckily we found it! Was a little bit tricky but the hint was very helpful...Thanks a lot for showing us the way to the most amazing lookout!!

It's still very wet! Found a piece of paper in my car. Left it there but didn't have a waterproof case...
TFTC! Checked nearly every tree in that area until I finally found it. The park is really nice. If you have a dog check it out! It's a leash free area.

Enjoying my day off on this beautiful day by driving around toowoomba looking for some caches...took me a few min to find this one. I kinda knew where it had to be but I didn't look close enough. Then I found sth but there was no lock book inside...had to dig a little deeper to find the actual cache. Nicely done! TFTC!
Great hide, thanks! Nearly didn't recognise it as cache...nice camouflage! Love the park near by. Very quiet and great to play Frisbee!

Did some shopping in the mall and thought I would check this one out...unfortunately couldnt find it. Is it even possible to find this one without having a GPS??
Finally an easy one for me! TFTC! It's a really nice park. Got to see my first cricket game.

Completely forgot about logging this one. TFTC! It took a few minutes but eventually it caught my eye. Very nice spot! I spent the day with some friends in Bargara and my french friend and I told our thaiwanese friend all about geocaching. When we finally found the cache she was totally surprised and enjoyed the whole hunt!

We were searching all over the place for this one for at least 30 mins but we just couldnt find it. Unfortunately we dont have a GPS so we turned everything thats "hard as a rock". Which is on that beach A LOT. in the end we had to give up...We'll be back soon though. This is really bugging me. must be a great find...
Such a cute little bridge. Nice and easy hiding place. It reminded me of my childhood...playing under the bridge, hiding from other people...TFTC! =)
We had a lot of fun finding this one. It's such a sneaky little cache and of course we searched everywhere but the obvious part. But eventually we found it. TFTC!!

I'm a German Backpacker working on a Bundy Farm atm. After we found 2 caches at Elliot Heads on behalf of my mum (esparcet), me and my french friend "manakel4" were so excited about the whole geocaching treasurehunt that we decided to join in. So here I am logging my very first cache. I can see the Hummock from my house so I thought this would be the right place to start with... It's such a beautiful view up there! Ive been on the Hummock before but I didnt know that lookout. its really cool! There were soooo many mossys around though! Got bitten really badly. But didnt keep me from searching for the cache. TFTC! Don't look at the obvious spot I'll be back to enjoy the view and read a good book...
White container? Not anymore
We enjoyed the boardwalk very much and saw many many butterflys (working on the next generation never saw that before...). Very easy find. TFTC! German & French Power
