Logs for Kiv7
12-Jul-10
Well I had done this one before in a previous light(no pun) and tonight I thought we'd take the kids out for a quick hunt under torchlight. WP1 was out of it's hidey hole and it's growing mould on the inner cork. We replaced it where it should be. Starting at WP2 we picked up the trail of the tacs which we could see easy enough. When we got to GZ there was no cache to be seen.. muggled it looks like. I'd be here before so pretty sure I was looking in the right place and for the right thing - but nothing to be seen.
Don't reckon I saw any groups of 3 firetacs which I seem to recall also.. some might have gone missing over time.
either way, a nice idea.. thanks for a fun night anyways.

Kiv7 and Wifey found it at 4.45 today - Sunday.
we decided to go for a drive and I recall hassling Philby about placing a cache up on this boring old hill a while back.. so - thanks!
We came up from Tramway Road, over near the earthcache... in the Prado, quite a little piece of fun that. there are some very steep hills which are quite tractable for the adventurous soul.
being a techo I was fascinated by the lone and self powered radio site to the east of GZ.. something about WindPower.. sounds like a good idea for a cache.
easy find, just hat the Dr ordered for a Sunday arvo.
we never saw the trackable in the cache but note that Maccamob was there earlier today so maybe they grabbed it.

Yup, it's there... I was just gong to post a 'note' to say all is well at GZ but noticed a few DNF's so have done logging a found to even the scores. It's just hidden so well.. a trickly little bugger this one. a certain cache mistress was super confident that she could find it, but, she gave in and I showed her.. of course, she was going to check that spot next.. yeah, riiiight.
