Logs for Mongrel 

[My first find! Missed it on the first try as I tried to use nothing but the GPS Co-ordinates.] I got within 600m of the cache but was looking down on it from the top of the cliff. [Went back yesterday armed with my mountain bike and found it. Well worth the trip. the scenery is amazing.] ...although the rainforest cover is so dense that the GPS struggled. I had to backtrack 200m after finding a clearing and getting a reading. [I took a pack of playing cards and left a bicycle patch kit. I was going to leave a biddon (drink bottle) but it did not fit in the container - something to keep in mind for next time.]
