Decided to come down for a drive, while in the village decided to grab this Adlab. The points were nice and close together so made for a nice stroll round the place. Got the bonus co-ords and headed off. Took the car and went past then came back and parked at the nice convenient pull off area on the right side of the road. Located cache. Log a bit damp but managed to sign ok. TFTC 

Decided to grab this one while we were down here on the way past. Parked up near toilets and made the short walk over to GZ. This cache had us hunting for a bit. Something finally caught my eye as I was moving things around - found it. Signed and replaced cache. TFTC. 

Decided to spend the day at the lagoon with the kids. Was a very hot day 28C in town and certainly a lot hotter out here at the beach. Was nice to jump in and have a snorkel around for a couple of hours. Grabbed the cache on the way back up the hill. Topped off the afternoon with a BBQ lunch looking out over Whananaki estuary. 

Headed along this track to get a few of the new caches that popped up here. Camp ground still very full despite it no longer being the main holiday period. Made a nice decent down the GZ. Made a quick find. Signed and replaced. TFTC. Now a quick hard slog back up from the beach to the seat. Will leave the lagoon cache for another day. TFTC.

This one decided to go missing. The cache has been replaced - good to go

Maintenance has been done on the bridge - looks like cache has gone walkies. Also anti-rust grease smeared all over the bridge bolts. Will replace cache. 

[FTF] 11.00am. Decided to head out this way for a drive. The weather was easing from the remnants of cyclone Lola, but tide was high. Had to drive through the water a few times on the way out there with high tide and the flooding. Pulled up at GZ in the drizzling rain. Saw the hint item. Opened up the cache and the log was still blank!.... Signed the log and replaced the cache. Time to head back before we get stuck in Whananaki! TFTC 

This cache was missing last time I checked - have disabled for now and will replace when I wander down the alleyway next. Watch this space.

Lid loose - make sure lid is on as this has the required ## for the bonus. Will replace when out next.

Dorothy's replacement made her trip across from Isla Nublar on the barge in good time. She is settled into her new environment and ready for viewing. GZ has been updated to a more secure location to tether to. Good luck.

The last one on this walk to get, decided to go out for a drive and stopped by here today. Made the walk on this actually nice day for once!!... Stupid rainy northland weather lately!.... Got to GZ and made a quick find. Signed and replaced before heading to the lookout. TFTC. 

Decided to go for a drive today down this way. Parked up, managed to get a park...its normally full. Headed down the track. There was orange netting across the track but no signs stating it was closed anywhere - just signs saying keep dogs on leash as its penguin breeding season etc. So we headed up the track anyway. Very muddy. It took a while to get there trying not to slip over. When at GZ had a bit of a hunt in the muddy conditions. Cache was finally located safe and sound. Signed an replaced. TFTC. Headed back - didnt get the last two today. 

Dorothy has broken from her tether and wandered off and not to come back. Have begged John Hammond for a replacement and he has come good. Dorothy mark 2 is headed on a barge from the island of Isla Nublar in Costa Rica. Should be ready to put out in a couple of weeks. 

This geocacher reported that the cache might be missing. 

Checked on this cache while checking others out here. The trees that the cache was located in have been poisoned and no longer. Cache will need to be moved the the native still alive trees nearby. 

Check on cache today. All good. This cache has a waterproof log. If its wet just dry it off. Make sure you have a ball point pen not a ink pen.

Came up here for a drive and to grab a few caches. Spent considerable time searching for the cache. Knowing the CO we tried every type that we know CO does but still came up with nothing. Climbed the trees and bank. The bank and coast along here has been battered quite bad with the cyclone and a lot more has been exposed. It maybe still there and eluded us or it maybe gone..... who knows. maybe next time.

All the usual suspect things didn't reveal the cache so looked a bit harder and it appeared.... very sneaky. Have seen this before but didn't expect it on this occasion!... Signed and replaced. Decided to head north today and grab a few caches. After an unsuccessful cache on the beach headed over to this one. Walked around the beach then up and over. Approached the cache from above. clambered straight down on top of it. Something didn't look quite right and with closer inspection up came the cache. Signed and replaced. TFTC.
