We were on a 4WD tag along trip when we found this (9/10/2019), a beautiful part of Australia with a fascinating history.

Great location for a cache. Found on a hot sunny afternoon while passing through on our way to Perth

Despite being over 40 degrees I headed into Kantju Gorge with my 6yo son. It was lovely and shady so we sat and soaked up the peace and beauty for a little while.

We hadn’t planned to geocache while we were out of range as we ran out of time to pre-plan. But we found this one nice and easy.

We pulled up into camp at Wilpena Pound and found this one nearby, it was perfect to take the kids for a little stroll to stretch their little legs after sitting in the car all day.

Took a quick stroll after dinner while camping at Wilpena Pound, nice find.
Next time we’ll plan out trip during the cooler months, would love to do this hike/walk.

Quick lunch stop on our way to Flinders Ranges and we found a cache

We ventured on to this one and after realising where it was we sent Mr Nigenjax off to find it as it was inaccessible for a 6yr old and a toddler

Took us a little while to get this one. We sent Mr Nigenjax off and he found it with ease, while the kiddies stayed back at the track with Mum.

What a great EarthCache! After being swamped by many visitors at the Loch Ard Gorge, this was a nice quiet spot where we happily sat for a while and took in the surrounding beauty. We also debated over our answers lol but have now submitted these to the cache owner.

What a great find on an absolutely stunning day. I have been here many times before as I grew up locally but to visit again with my son felt so much more special.
This EarthCache is brilliant and even my 5 year son enjoyed learning about the geology.
I have sent my answers to the cache owner.

Found the cache but it was scattered amongst the trees. Have put back together what we found and will message cache owner where we left it. It's missing the log, so we couldn't sign it. 

We haven't been geocaching for a while and decided to give it a crack again. A nice easy find with the kids. TFTC 

We really enjoyed this cache, our first EarthCache!!! It is a great way to teach the kids the geology of the area. We hope to be able to get to the other nearby EarthCaches soon. Have emailed Cache owner answers to the questions. TFTEC

Disappointed that we could not find but was a lovely walk. Will b back to have another go when we have more time. 

Struggled to find, searched high & low, but then ran out of time. Will have to come back to Esperance and try again some other time. Good excuse I think  

Despite the iPod and GPS both low on batt. and dyed, we managed to locate with ease. Signed & replaced log. Looking forward to locating the others. TFTF.
