Logs for NorthWes

26-Sep-21
Logged on 10/24/2013. Bringing 3 TBs by for a visit!

29-May-18
Significant TB drop-off at 4pm; I didn't find ANY of the more than a dozen TBs listed in the cache. However, there's a bunch in there now!

20-Nov-16
We worked an extra day into our Thanksgiving visit with daughter & son in law in Denver, so we could do a day trip over to claim a find on this cache (as well as add Kansas to our 'found' states!) What a delight to make this find in 64 degrees and sunshine - to swap 5 TBs brought down from Alaska for 2 TBs found in the cache - and to have the pleasure of my fellow cacher (and bride/best friend) along for the drive and conversation too. Thanks to all who've worked to keep this historic cache alive and well-maintained!

22-Dec-15
This marked the beginning of a great day's visit to the Key West area for our geocaching family. What a legacy - well worth the remembrance!

No one in the group believed I could make this work using an iPhone, and wandered on to shop. Ha! The photo here is of me at an delightfully early hour of the morning, with the bar to myself (except for the nice lady setting up house behind the bar). Thanks for keeping this webcam going!!!

14-Oct-12
I was genuinely pleased and surprised to see how very little trash lined the beach here. Wind was beginning to pick up as the sun continued its climb in the sky, but otherwise the weather was looking good for a continued walk around Liberty State Park.

05-Dec-06
Howdy to all our fellow geocachers 'Down Under' from the folks of 'Geocache Alaska' way up North... we'll be hosting our second Anchorage Holiday GeoFest same day and time as your Christmas Parrot Party! Thanks to SA Parrothead for suggesting we raise a toast to each other - perhaps one day we'll get to host you in person here in the 'Great Land' of Alaska. Our guests this year are the returning members of the 2005 Alaska Cache'N'Dash - we love visitors! Wish we'd sent on one of our special GeocacheAlaska 2006 Holiday Geocoins...

Best Regards!

Dropped in to Frontierland to fourwheel on Big Thunder Mtn.

Saved this for our last park visit of our week-long stay here in the World... tons of fun, and the best week to visit (no crowds, no heat, relatively no bugs!). Thanks to all the 'cachers who took time to set up places where we could visit and add to our memories of a trip to Florida!
