Logs for RugeFamily

25-Nov-14
Took us a little while until GeoNanna made the spot!

A quick find, now on to the next 3!

Four from four, a nice stroll around the wetlands! TFTCs!

Our GPS had us barking up the wrong tree but soon righted itself and we found this one after a bit! One to go!

Nice hidden and nicely found! 2 to go!

23-Nov-14
Took us a minute but grabbed it eventually!

Forgot to add this one! A great cache to find.

A minute to spot this little fella!

Another spicy find! Cute cache Smile

30-Sep-14
My niece and nephew were excited to find this, their first geocache! Hope it sparks their interest!

17-Sep-14
Only had time for one quick hunt on a trip to Moonta and found this one as an extended family (my Dad's first look at a cache!) Attracted the interest of some nearby Muggles and potentially sparked their interest in geocaching.

07-Sep-14
Have walked past this spot countless times and had no idea there was a cache here! Nice bit of camo.

30-Aug-14
Solved this a while ago and finally got around to GZ. A little bit of poking around and found the biggest cache I've seen so far! Fun! Gathered a bit more camo for the replacement process. Saw the trackable but left him there.

21-Aug-14
A few days late with this one but very fun to find behind the scenes!

Again, a late posting but a nice spot and a fun discovery.

17-Aug-14
Our second go at this one and found after quite a while of scrabbling through grass and around logs, trying to be cool as the owner of the barking dogs hung her washing out and cast us suspicious glances. Our geokiddie was particularly excited, sadly we had nothing to trade so we left as is.

14-Aug-14
RVMP spotted this quickly and we soon signed and were on our way!

Our first difficult one and what a hide! Took us a good 20 or so minutes and a tip from a friend; poking, lifting, rattling and trying to look inconspicuous as a never ending stream of uni students passed by before the odd one out became more apparent and we had the cache in our hands. Very impressive effort with the camo. We were buzzing afterwards!

Couldn't find this one as others have posted but there is a lot of new landscaping and wondering if it was cleared up

Giddy from our success at locating a 4.5 difficulty cache moments before, we kind of overthought this one.

Nearly gave it up but a last minute inspirational peek by RVMP had the cache in our hands.

Thanks!

A short stroll from our previous Reel find saw us locating the cache with ease. Thanks!

I knew I should have got the GT off-road pram!

Found it with RVMP and had to provide screening with the pram to enable retrieval while a family played on the nearby grass. A fun find, left a loom band bracelet. The Geobubbies enjoyed the playground break.

13-Aug-14
A nicely camoflauged hide on a walk home from the bus stop. Maybe next time I won't wear a neon yellow scarf. Muggles aplenty!

12-Aug-14
Found with RVMP but rookie error, forgot a pen! Great hide. We'll be back

Excited to find this cool cache with RVMP and the geobubbies. We left loom bands and have taken the Travel Bug on an adventure!

What a clever hide, first kind of these we have seen and very impressed. RVMP made it four from four for the day!

Another good find by RVMP! Thanks for another fun hunt.

10-Aug-14
Our first ever cache, four minutes walk from our house and satisfyingly fun to discover! Left a loom band bracelet and look forward to discovering more around the local area!

Getting dark as we hunted around for this one, barking dogs and nosy neighbours peering over their balconies put us off . . . think we got super close but will come back soon and claim victory!

Poking around for a while on the hunt for our second cache when the CO (see, we're learning quickly) popped over to give us a hint in the right direction. Nice to chat to someone so early on in our adventure!
