Logs for SGT Doug 

Found the cache while on a geo-event. Sad to say that we found it through a purs 'stuff-up', meh*
As i was reading out the co-ordinates to a friend (who was plugging them into the GPS), I accidently read out half of one, and half of anoter. The point I 'created' was 180m into a random field. I though, " well I moght as well have a look", so I started to hop the fence. I found out it was an electric fence- the hard way. After electrifying the 'short and curlys', an finding out it actually burned myself, we managed to find this cache.

I never knew that this place was here- but a nice history lesson never the less.. 

Very original cache, and yep- it was pretty hot when I found it- speially after cjpostie let rip in the vicinity...;-( 

well a very quiet place- almost'dead quiet', well hidden as well- it was nice to see cjpostie to nearly break a leg in the process of finding it...good one cj! 

well this is an excellent BBQ spot- and the pub is just down the road- perfect..

Well that one was a little more difficult to find, the GPS doesnt seem to like trees..Nice spot to camp though.

Wow, I've been to this little park for years, even to the very spot of the cache, but never knew it was there untill I started geocaching...beauty of a BBQ spot. 

Nice place, Not alot of people here- surprising? Probably because of the huge amount of rain the district is having at present time

Nice spot, never knew it was there even though I've been thru Robbie' a few times. Interesting crane in the back ground..
*The info board at te entrance to the park is a good read.

I think it may be a little to easy to spot from the road to 'non-geocachers', opinions? 

Nice Park- If you come near christmas time, just think of the poor bloke who had to climb the pine tree (centre of park) and put up the lights- that was me!
