Logs for SalemPirates 

Yarrr, we discovered this slippery cache at the Hansel & Gretel's Oktoberfest event. 

We passed by this fellow while returning from a GeoCache Pizza Party in Lebenon, Oregon. It reminded us of the old Bob's Big Boy. 

It was great meeting all the cachers whose logs we've read about, as well as seeing old friends. Time seems to run away at events like these with all the Geo-Talk, but too soon the "Pink Pirate" needed her nap fix. We had a blast and enjoyed meeting Pablo and all the others. Thanks for organizing this fun time! We will be uploading some snapshots.

Mission Mill Museum interprets the history of Jason Lee's Methodist Mission to Oregon which settled the Willamette Valley in 1834 before the major Oregon Trail migrations.

While caching in Portland, OR we came across this house. 

Arrgg, we have at last discovered the technical heart of the rebel alliance in Salem, OR! For valor beyond the call of duty, Lord Vader rewarded 2nd Mate Steven and Pirate 2nd Class Samantha. 

This little treasure is called The Ripper and is located in Salem, OR. 

Arrgg, the Pink Pirate was having a ball outside the Garts Sporting Goods store in Salem, OR. 

This small sign sits on the Ohio/Indiana border. The black blob to the left is my Garmin Map60CS. 

While in Pennsylvania on business we came across this pretty lady. 

We found this one outside the Ft. Wayne, Indiana airport. Its the home of the 122nd Air National Guard Fighter Wing. 

1st Mate Kimberly and Pirate 2nd Class Samantha found this one in a parking lot in the Salem, OR area 

This is a little ferry just south of Independence, OR. 

Arrgg, the crafty SalemPirates noticed no one had logged the doubloon smasher at the bottom of the Tower of Terror in California Adventure. The crew was in town for some well deserved shore leave when 1st Mate Kimberly and 2nd Mate Steven braved the ghosts of this haunted ride. 

Arrgg, the SalemPirates sailed through the beloved Small World ride on the last day before it closed for refurbishment. We checked the log and didn't see this fellow in them. To tell ya the truth, we're not sure what animal he is supposed to be. 

This crafty cache took the crew to a dead end road outside of Silverton, OR. 

This set of coords took the crew out to a local farmer's field. 

This is the Vocanoes Stadium in Keizer, OR. The SalemPirates had many a fun evening watching the game here. 

This is the historic Elsonore Thearter in downtown Salem, OR. It recently underwent a massive restoration and is now regularly the host to live entertainment. 

This a skate park near downtown Salem, OR. 

This is the Waller Building at historic Willamette University in Salem, OR. As you can see its undergoing renovations. 

This is the "Eco-Earth" globe in the Riverfront Park at downtown Salem, OR. 

This is the Oregon State Mental Hospital used in the movie "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". 

Located 20 miles south of Dallas, OR, Ritner Creek Bridge was moved from State Highway 223 to a wayside park in 1976. The bridge has Gothic windows on each side and a cedar shake roof.
