Youngest SS and I came to Holland for a few days to join MrSS who is having an extended holiday on the boat to Denmark and back this year. This afternoon we are exploring Amsterdam before catching a flight home again...
We ended up having our lunch near here so I thought I mught as well look for the cache. After casting my eye over a couple of places, I saw where it must be, and got my compaion to cover my activities as I retrieved it.
This was the 4th cache out of 5 for the day. Many thanks, Twentse Mug, for setting this cache.

De jongste SS en ik kwamen een paar dagen naar Nederland om zich bij MrSS te voegen, die dit jaar een uitgebreide vakantie op de boot naar Denemarken en terug doorbrengt. Vanmiddag verkennen we Amsterdam voordat we weer een vlucht naar huis nemen ...
We eindigden met onze lunch in de buurt, dus ik dacht dat ik ook naar de cache moest zoeken. Nadat ik mijn oog op een paar plaatsen had gericht, zag ik waar het moest zijn en kreeg ik mijn compagnon om mijn activiteiten te dekken terwijl ik het ophaalde.
Dit was de 4th cache van 5 voor de dag. Hartelijk dank, Twentse Mug, voor het instellen van deze cache.

A Sunday trip out to the Melksham area to walk a couple of series and a few extras as well. The weather started foggy and chilly, and stayed that way for most of the day, but I had some great walks and gave the legs a much needed workout. After the MS, a drive round for a few strays...
A Sidetracked is not to be missed and Sunday is a good day to do them so I had no trouble here.

Day 2 of my little trip to the Bristol area to collect number 1 son from Uni and get a bit of caching in as well. I started before first light so that I could get a good walk in before going to the city centre to meet for lunch, then drive home. Now walking the Father Ted series...
There were a few places it could have been, but a previous log helped here.

I wondered later if I was supposed to go for the bonus after number 17, but I kept on walking down the path for this one instead.

On our short holiday in France just after Easter, I wasn't allowed to do very many caches, but after a rather exciting walk from Dinan (on the wrong side of the river) we arrived in Lehon to find everything shut. Well, we had a drink and looked at the castle, which was great, and on the way back I stopped with the elder Mrs SS to get this one. I couldn't find it, but she did- hooray!

Sur notre court séjour en France juste après Pâques, je n'avais pas le droit de faire de très nombreuses caches, mais après un assez excitant à pied de Dinan (sur le mauvais côté de la rivière) nous sommes arrivés à Lehon de trouver tout fermé. Eh bien, nous avons pris un verre et regarda le château, ce qui était super, et sur ??le chemin du retour je me suis arrêté avec l'aîné Mme SS pour obtenir celui-ci. Je ne pouvais pas la trouver, mais elle a, hourra!
