I have a new container but cannot leave the house due to isolation laws Sad
Please bear with me.

28-Feb-20
I'm sorry, the replacement is still delayed. - I could replace with another type of container but don't want to lower the quality.
Thanks for your patience!

On our last day of our trip AndyCol95 and I had just enough time before we had to be at the airport to find this one .... or so we thought.

We walked up and down and up and down, and had to pull a PAF just to spot it. What a tricky one!

Alas there are too many muggles around to retrieve and sign it and we don't have time to come back later!

We took a sneaky photo and sent it onto the CO in hopes we can still call this a find and add a smilie to our list.

Here in WA with AndyCol95 for a holiday and decided we had to stop in there.

Good thing we did, cause what amazing city views there are!

We managed to catch the view of peak hour traffic while we were here Smile

Didn't include ourselves in the photo, hope that is okay, but it is a bit of a panorama!

Here in WA with AndyCol95 for a holiday and decided we had to stop in there. We got another cache and this one was next on our list.

We found it after a walk around Kings Park, we gathered the answers to prove we were here then continued our trip.

Sent on to the CO.

AndyCol95 took the chance on turning in here to see what all the fuss was about and before we knew it we were in front of an amazing piece of nature.

We took photos ... lots of them and went on our way.

Grabbed the answers too.

AndyCol95 and I had just done the underwater observatory tour and had taken the train back to the main land to make the most of the ticket money.

Okay, now let’s do the walking tour of the jetty!

We walked out, took some photos of the sunset and as we turned around I thought to myself "We should really bring up the map to see if there are any caches out here."

Ah, there is one, and it looks to be right here! At least the first part.

We found it in no time but had to wait for muggles to pass.

We got the final coordinates and headed there.

When we got there we found more (different) muggles sitting at the location.

We tried to wait them out but they were pretty set.

We decided to go and find a camp site and then come back.

Sure enough when we came back there was no one here.

Success!

No one here and we found it straight away!

Second lighthouse for our trip to WA.

We had some food before the tour and after our tour AndyCol95 and I went to find this cache.

A nice easy find, lucky us.

07-May-18
After AndyCol95 and I did the tour through the lighthouse grounds and lighthouse we wandered over to search for this one.

It wasn’t long before AndyCol95 had found it.

I grabbed it out and signed while AndyCol95 went over to touch the ocean.

I was about to put it back when a muggle wandered nearby.

I had no choice but to pop it in my bag and go down to touch the water too.

I did touch the water...but it was more of a dumping by a wave!

Okay, tick that off and we went to replace the cache and go touch the other ocean.

AndyCol95 and I flew into Perth last night, got the campervan this morning, stocked it up and headed straight out to Wagin for the giant ram.

We decided to stop in at this historical village before the ram though but didn’t realise we would need to pay to get in Sad

We decided to skip the tour but had a nice chat to the lady there who was very helpful.

We finished up our chat and went to find the cache.

It’s a good thing it’s so quiet around here!

From some previous logs I was able to spot the location quite easily and grab it in no time.

TFTC, our WA souvenir has been obtained!

AndyCol95 and I were specially out for this CITO today, we cancelled all other plans for it.....Some things are more important.

We arrived at the gate of where to start the trek and ran into some other brave trekkers.

We decided to join in the group and when the time came we all set off together.

After a quick detour for a traditional we were able to get back off the path and well on our way to GZ.

We soon arrived at GZ, signed off the papers and got to work.

We filled many a bag and the time flew, before we knew it it was all over and it was packing up time.

Thanks for organising the event, see you next time!

Out with AndyCol95 for this CITO today and upon arriving at the gate we met up with a group of other brave trekkers and decided to joint the group.

Once we waited for as long as we could, we set off down the path towards the CITO, on the way it was agreed that we would first get this cache as it was on the way and we could squeeze it in before we had to be at GZ for the CITO.

So off we went in single file, off the path and into the bush, under a spikey plant, over the grass and we soon arrived at GZ.

As the group was so large there were people everywhere looking and we didn’t have much chance of making the find ourselves (least I didn't).

When it had been found we made sure our names were added to the list and back we went over the grass, under the spikey plant, into the bush and back onto the path.

Out today with AndyCol95 trying desperately trying to find enough caches to satisfy the requirements of the souvenirs.

We had planned to have them all marked off yesterday but a detour had to be made and our plans were thrown off track.

We were determined to get there today though!

We were over the train tracks finding other caches as we accidentally parked closer to them.

We found there was path from there to the train tracks and we did the naughty and crossed the tracks for this one....Safety of course.

We navigated across and were soon at GZ and staring at a cute little cache.

We found the log and giggled at the nice hint.

We parked and walked over to this one.

We saw a clearing and decided to just head in rather then go in further along.

As we walked along/navigated through the trees we found that we probably should have taken the other way in.

Nevertheless we found our way to GZ and it was too long before we spotted the bad boy.

TFTC, really enjoyed it. Added a FP!

We parked near this one and decided to walk down the road and meet up with the path there.

We walked up to near the park and my GPS said it was near but then bounced back out.

We followed it back out to where we came and went in when we were close enough.

As we walked through we spied GZ and I saw the cache ... or did it see me?

Very cute container!

Definitely a FP from me!

We had planned to get another one that is near here but had parked closer to this trail.

Oh well, what's a couple more caches on a caching day?

We walked from the last cache in the trail and soon found ourselves at GZ and the cache was in our hands.

Cute little container inside the letterbox Smile.

That was easy!

We went to sign the log and found there were some time travelers and they had put a shiny new log in!

We signed it off and went on our way.

Looks like we are still following the time travelers.

Pretty cool location for GZ Smile.

This one we were just following the GPS from the last cache and as we passed a certain location I thought to myself, that would be a cool location for the cache, but we trusted in the GPS not our GeoSense and kept going.

When we got to a certain point the GPS just flipped and pointed us back.

Hmmm looks to be pointing to exactly where I was thinking.

We back tracked and I spotted it almost immediately.

Update on the time travelers...we're still following them Razz.

As we were walking to this one we finally we caught up with the time travelers and were able to talk to them about the date.

Cool, got that sorted now on to the next cache.

Looks like the time travelers had just come from there, they mentioned there was a snake wrapped around GZ so on we went tentatively.

As we got to near GZ there were a few choices on where I though GZ could be and luckily it was the first.

No sign of a snake.

Maybe the next one?

As were walking we came across a body of water.

Hmm, how will we get across?

We were not prepared to go wading ... we looked around and found log to walk across.

Woohoo!

Finally we got to the cache after some more walking and it was not the first but second place we looked.

I asked AndyCol95 to retrieve it and he pretended his hand was stuck Razz.

Lots of big spiders around here!

We looked and looked for ages on this one, the GPS was all over the place.

We followed the GPS here and there and then here again and we nearly gave up!

I took one last look it had me staring right at it.

Perseverance wins in the end!

We looked around for something that matched the hint and it wasn't in the first one so we moved onto the second one.

Ahhhh, there it is.

It is very damp and the container was not the best.

I had a spare one but was not painted up.

Replaced container, but placed original on top for camo.

We parked right next to GZ but I couldn’t see anything so went for a look around the place where I thought the hint was hinting at.

Nope, nothing.

Okay, maybe it is near the car.

As I walked over to the car AndyCol95 motioned me over.

He asked, could this be it?

Yeah, think so.

We tried to open it with our hands but ended up getting a tool from the car and using that.

It was hard to get in there but we cleared it up a little so it is easier to get in (but still camouflaged of course).

Once we got inside we found 1 very damp bear, lots of damp swaps and a log book.

Signed it off and returned.

We parked a tad too early and had to walk a little to get to the proper path.

We raced along and were close enough to GZ in no time.

We looked at the GPS and headed in before the waterway as that's where it looks like to be on the map.

We kept following the GPS and it got slowly more and more muddier and slowly we got closer to the water.

As we got to the water's edge we found out it would be on the other side.

Off we go!

We crossed it and were soon at GZ.

As I was looking around AndyCol95 was doing his usual thing with his stick and just happened on the cache.

Finally something good had come from it (other than keeping the spiders at bay).

What a creative cache!

Signed it off and replaced....Back to the path.

This event marked the end of a long day of caching and it was good to see some old friends at this catch up and it has clicked me over to having just enough points to collect all the souvenirs.

Woohoo!

I even got to help with a multi that someone could not work out.

TFTE, see you next time.

We were on our way to another one (the first planned for today) but we were passing this one first so we decided to do it first.

We parked up and walked over to where the cache was.

The GPS was jumping around so we were not sure where to look except everywhere!

So I looked around everywhere and spotted it just as AndyCol95 was adjusting his GPS.

We parked nearby and wondered down to GZ.

We were in the bush searching with our GPS jumping around when a muggle walked past and his 2 dogs sniffed us out.

We headed out of the bush and waited for him to pass, he didn't seem too interested in what we were doing...

Then back in after the muggle had moved on.

When he headed back in AndyCol95 spotted it.

Log was damp so harder to take out but we managed.

We couldn’t see where the parking spot was for this one so we found our own and walked back.

As we were doing this we spotted the parking spot but it was too late.

We felt a little dangerous walking along to GZ but the things you'll do for a cache.

When we got there we kept following the GPS but it was jumping around.

We wandered this way then that. We looked exactly at where the cache was too but it wasn’t until we came back around to it and looked more closely that I found it.

Out today with AndyCol95 trying desperately trying to find enough caches to satisfy the requirements of the souvenirs.

I tried to solve enough puzzles last night but alas my puzzle solving skills are not up to par, so we had to make do with finding caches with 10 + FPs!

It's not so bad though, means all caches are ones that at least 10 people have deemed good enough to relinquish a FP to.

We drove up and down a little to find a reasonable place to park and when we found it we parked.

Down the hill, along the bike path and to GZ we go.

I had read the notes and had an idea on what we were looking to be searching around and I was right.

I braced myself for a very detailed search and as we were looking AndyCol95 mentioned there was a wasps nest over to one side.

I moved to look over the other side so I didn't disturb the nest.

I finished up a thorough look over that side and headed back to the middle.

This time I kept going, keeping an eye out for the nest.

I was a bit tired of looking so closely so I was having a wide angle look.

I keen eye spotted it just as AndyCol95 came to join me and spotted it as well.

Sneaky hide, and a nice big one too. Great construction around it.

TFTC.

I asked if there were any trackables in the container as I signed it off.

AndyCol95 said no, but when I had a look in there I found one!

Hmmmmm.....

I grabbed it to take it on our way.

This time we headed straight for GZ and spotted it within seconds.

We were right on top of it last time but the container blended in in the dark!

Dropped off a TB.

We had found a cache nearby (sort of) and had just given up on another cache and thought taking the city hopper would be the quicker way (well AndyCol95 did and I was just along for the ride).

We soon found out that it wasn’t.

All we could do now is walk....and walk....and walk back to where we could actually get onto the bridge.

We walked at a leisurely pace from the ferry to the bridge and then along the bridge ... yes from the end that is further to GZ .... and we managed to finally get to GZ in the end.

On the way we happily found that we had timed it right and the lights flicked on as we were walking.

What a nice surprise.

We got to GZ, took a couple of photos (tried to get the best photo we could, have attached my favourite one) and then walked back.

As we found out the car is right next to where we wanted to start!

TFTC, it’s lovely to see more virtuals.
