Picked the perfect day for it and we knocked them all off as well as a couple of traditionals for good measure. Thanks for all your efforts Taybee, I thoroughly enjoyed it. This one is a gonner - while working out where the cache could be hidden, I spotted a smashed film cannister and nearby, the logbook absolutely sodden and covered with mud. Put them in my backpack as they were unusable and there was nowhere to hide them. There has been mowing recently and I think the hint item in question no longer exists. 

Needs replacing.

#2245 Last time I was here I was on a potter around Seaview on my bike but there was a truckie right on GZ so I decided to leave it. Was on a reccy to see if this cache was here, after a conversation with another cacher and couldn't walk away without logging it. TFTC! Interesting spot! 

#2244 I'm very appreciative of having some nearby traditionals for my dot day calendar gaps. Nipped up here after work to complete another hole in the grid. TFTC. Will return to complete the circuit on a day I'm not in jandals! 

#2243 Haven't been out much lately but I have marked all my dot days in my diary in an attempt to fill up the grid and today happened to be one. Grateful for a new, easy find as it was getting close to bed time and the wind was making the experience quite wild. Carpark was open until 11 so I had a 25 min window to drive to the far end and make the find before getting locked in for the night. That would've sucked! Plenty of time to complete formalities and in bed before 11. Yus! TFTC!

#2241 Nabbed this on the way back from a trip over the hill with Nic-jay on our way past. Quick find. Will be back to explore the rest of the track another day. TFTC! 

#2239 Popped over the hill with Nic-jay for some Ingress and swung by a couple of caches that were unfound. After meeting a locked gate at the listed entry, we decided to pop by the other way and despite the French Fair being on, we had no trouble accessing the cache in peace. Met a few horses as we walked past the stables, lovely. Amazing spot. TFTC! 

No luck here although there is a new fence at GZ. Perhaps AWOL? 

#2230 Out and about knocking off a few more Wellington caches while the weather is playing nice. Lyall Bay looked incredible today! Was happy to sit and watch the world go by for quite a few minutes after finding this cache. These spots are why I love caching so much! TFTC!

No hanky panky going on here today, just a cache waiting to be found. I had been here recently when I took a wrong turn (however not on the 24th and I don't drive a BMW!) and thought to myself it would be a good place for a cache although I didn't think to look. TFTC!

Was signing the log when two 'muggles' walked past, however he then asked if I was geocaching so turns out they are ONE OF US! ONE OF US! I handed over the logbook and we had a chat next to GZ. Unfortunately the logbook was sodden. What a neat spot. TFTC!
