Logs for Snooty_F 

We haven't been cache hunting in ages, so this was a nice easy find to start us off again. TFTC!  

My GPS managed to get itself lost so after a stroll back the car for a clue we set off back with a search plan. Sure enough, the GPS had no idea what it was talking about, and after some systematic searching we found it. Looked a bit muggled, though. Or a curious wallaby took a look. Gave it a tidy up and it's good as new.  

Even with the help of the friendly and slightly bored next door neighbour (she came out and was wondering why people are always digging around near her fence, lol!) I could not for the life of me find it. She assured me that someone came out and dug it up on Saturday, so I'm fairly sure the problem is me and not the cache. -.-

I'll stop by with some more time again soon.

Hoorah!! Our very first find!!

Thank you very much, and the park there is lovely. We'd never have known about it otherwise, but it will definitely get a return visit to wander around the lake and enjoy the quiet.  

I'm pretty sure I have the clue figured, but, **ahem** I was prevented from testing this theory by the activities of developers. I might go down on Sunday, when, hopefully, it will be a day off for them, and see if my suspicious are correct.  

This was our first ever try at finding a cache, and we had no luck. This is seriously harder than I expected! Fortunately, the reserve is an area the kids and I love to go for walks in, so we'll come back again soon (with a bit more light we might find it easier!) and have another try.

Just a matter of getting the hang of it, I'm sure.
