This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs I am archiving it.

The [Geocache Maintenance guideline](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the [Help Center](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).

Hi
I notice that this cache appears to be in need of maintenance. May I ask that the owner reads the logs and checks the cache to sort out any problems with it or gives an indication of when it may be up and running again for people to find. Please *Log your visit* and write an *Owner Maintenance* log with the information. The *Owner maintenance* log will also remove the *Needs maintenance* attribute (red cross) if that is showing on the cache page. Once the cache has been sorted out you can enable it again. If the cache cannot be fixed it should be archived. If there is no response to this log after 30 days I may archive the cache, in the meantime I am disabling it.

Please Remember: If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Hi
I notice that this cache appears to be in need of maintenance. May I ask that the owner checks the cache and sort out any problems with it or gives an indication of when it may be up and running again for people to find. If this cannot be done the cache should be archived. If there is no response to this log after 14 days I may archive the cache, in the meantime I am disabling it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you plan to maintain the cache but it will take longer than 14 days, can you add a note log to the cache saying what your plans are. It may be one of my colleagues who checks your cache again so please don't e-mail me. It's a good idea with a cache you've disabled and which may take a while to sort out to post a note once a month so people know you are still aware of it.

If you wish to replace this cache a new listing will now need to be created. Caches are not unarchived due to a lack of maintenance. Please do not e-mail me.

With no further update in co-ordinates provided from the cache owner and having discussed this cache with another reviewer the decision has been made to archive the cache.

Whilst I see from the photo that there is a new bridge very close to GZ, the site is still registered as a Schedule Ancient Monument and as such is legally protected. It's important to note that not all SAM's are above ground, a number of them are below and can not be seen.

CADW are the people to approach for permission. I will unarchive this cache should permission or the cache be moved within the next 7 days and no other cache is published in this time.

After this point the cache will not be unarchived and a new listing will have to be made.
