So I was here at one of the goals of the trip. The rain fell on us but the mood was at the top anyway. Fun to log one of the oldest caches. ?? TFTC
Finally the journey was started! Karjir, coco_c and I started planning this trip sometime in the fall of 2018. The plans have always been pretty loose, caches have been added and removed. The truth is probably that caches have been added and NOT removed. The main plan was GC40 as well as some challenge caches in the Netherlands. The journey started with MEGA in Germany and then with the help of various caches we navigated around Europe before ending with a T4 + event in Sweden. I have had a week with many fun and creative caches, different types of accommodation and food. But above all, I got to spend a week with two good friends who gave me a lot of laughs. Last but not least, big thanks to all the CO who made this trip possible !!

Wow, what a place and view!
*Last Christmas, my sister and I got a present, a trip to Athen together with our Mom. And now the time had come. Together we’ve had four lovely days with a lots of fun. We have visited many historical places, walking most of the time, but sometimes we rested our feet in a taxi. Many thanks from Sweden.*

After visited Akropolis we spent some time in the area. We searched for a while before we could find it. TFTC

Jag har under många år varit en del av Team Davidsson men har nu börjat logga under eget nic, Systerhax. Då jag ser loggarna som en dagbok har jag valt att behålla alla loggar från det gamla nicet även om jag inte själv besökt alla burkar. Jag hoppas att ni som CO tycker att det är ok så att dagboken får fortsätta leva vidare med mig. Ett stort tack till er alla för alla cacher ni lagt ut.
One week every autumn the schools in Sweden closes. That´s a good time to travel. This year we made it to something extra. Three weeks in the states and Canada. The plan is a tour roughly Stamford, Poughkeepsie, Niagara Falls, DC, NYC. The plan is far from fixed, so we´ll see what happens along the route.
Today the plan was the great tour around the Mall. I started early to go to the Washington Memorial to try and get ticket for a ride to the top. Waited in cue about an hour and saw the sun raise over Capitolum and ligthing up the sky and the memorial. It was easy to understand why this is the capital in this great country. I got the feel that this was an old country with lots of history. But during the day reality came back. USA is only about 150 years counting from honest Abe, and less 100 years more since farmer George W founded the country. The city in Sweden I live in just celebrated 750years since the city was founded
This day DC gave us all we could ask for. Sunshine - Tshirt - Good food - Just small crowds. And a lots of ghosts on the map Answers sent. Started this Ghost earlier today, but the walkpath didn´t pass the new spot, eventhoughwe passed some 20km! Tonight when rest of family slept I sneaked out agian. May I post answer to your queston here, or is that spoiling? Well, the answer is NO, I don´t feel stupid. Not because of coming here at 2AM at least
