Access to the cache has apparently been restricted by the land owner.

We will try to contact the landowner, retrieve the cache and relocate it to a publicly accessible location.

Please do not attempt to get to the cache until further notice.

[This is truely an amazing place to visit. Just in case the original is still there, here is where it was in august:] In the linked picture, to the right of and slightly behind the base of this tree there is big flat rock. It was about 6 to 12 inches into the opening that is barely visible in the picture Maybe it washed farther underneath.

Three cheers for SIDEandHEEK!

Hip Hip Hurray! Hip Hip Hurray! Hip Hip Hurray!

Thanks again.

[Passing through on my way to Melbourne and then back to the the United States. Dropped off Prince Charles, several TB's (*see below) hitched a ride. Thanks to Sea King for the tips on how to get across the bridge. Hint:] Straight out from the middle of the terminal under the convered walkway, there will be signs for access to the walkway. Left side of the building then under the bridge to the right side of the bridge. [ 30 minute fast walk round trip, toting my backback and rollaboard. I was a sweaty mess when I got back to customs and immegration, but they were cool. I did need to get a "domestic" sticker on my BP to continue to MEL, and the ticket counter closing, so get the sticker first if you ever try this on an inbound connection.

TB's on the move:
Island2Island2
Zoe GeoCache
Travel Bug Dog Tag
Sweety-Tweety
Harry Potter's Specs (GET ME TO AUSTIN, TEXAS)

Lucky visited many spots in the Northern Territory around Alice Springs and even found some water! After visting Bondi Beach he is ready for new travelmates.

28-Aug-05
Took the Mulga Road to get to this one. Lucky Lobster visited, still not finding any water. TNLN

TB Aloysious Owl wait to be rescued.

27-Aug-05
Took two days to get these shots. The first day a cloud rolled in just before sunset. Second day it rained ALL day, but then the clouds parted (as you can see from the reverse angle shot). Full size shots to be posted on our website when we get to faster internet.

26-Aug-05
Steep initial climb, but worth it. We've had a great time touring Australia by following cache routes. Caches seem to indicate the best places to visit. T chain w/ clip, L whistle. Left new log book.

Nice side trip. Didn't see any camels, spiders, or snakes. Hate the flies. Took TB Aloysious to do more bushwaking. T corvette key chain L superball.

Didn't see spiders, snakes or camels (only the evidence left behind), but lots of flies. T corvette key chain, L super ball. Took TB Aloysious to do some more bushwacking. Lucky the Lobster visited. Could use a better container, lid doesn't fit as well any more.

24-Aug-05
Lots of flys. Lots of Roo Doo. Matilda should feel at home for a while.

Nice location, took a little while to find.
Not fond of reach down in between rocks in these parts!!!!

Swapped Pens, took mini-highighter, left superball and TB Matilda.

Great hike. Certainly a variety of terrain. Can't imagine making the trek in the summer (winter was great weather) or carrying a youngster. Took boomerang keychain, left bi-color tennis ball. (I think we ended up taking the paper geocache notice by mistake. Info written on box, but maybe next person can print one out to include in the box.)

23-Aug-05
Good little hike. Hotel was empty. TNLN

[Nice park.] Not too sure about reaching into cracks between rocks (snakes). [Took mini highlighter left superball, swapped pens.] Evidence of roos in the area -left TB Matilda to visit.

Great way to explore Alice and then have an overview. Waited to avoid muggles and school group. TNLN

19-Aug-05
Can you not see cows? Artichoke fields on the way were a new sight. T Aussie key chain L US coin & carribener.

Would be nice spot on a sunny day (it was rainy). T Aussie key chain, L blue carribener & US coins.

Too wet to dig through so many rocks. Gave up.

Three of us looking high and low in the rain. Couldn't find it. Great spot if sunny though.

Yep, tried over a couple of days, couldn't get access. Did enjoy talking to a couple that live up the road who were taking a walk and spotting a blue wren.

18-Aug-05
Took us a bit to find how to "get there from here". Hard to remember which side of the road to drive on when surrounded by a herd of cows walking in to be milked for the evening. T Aussie flag magnet L green carribener. TB Matilda looked tired of seeking cows. Took her to find some of her own kind.

Nice first cache in South Australia. Definately got us off the beaten path. Great title - considering we just saw Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy on the plane. Took TB Lucky Lobster to find other water. TNLN else.
