Easy find, interesting gate found on the way home from a work trip to Broken hill.... Container has has lost its magnet, but can be sat in position

I've updated the container you are now looking for a small ammo box , unfortunately during the update a group of muggle kids appeared at the location, I hope they didn't disturb the cache after I left

What better way to celebrate my first hidden cache than to release my first travel bug, Hermit the Crab
10-Mar-05
19:00 Easy find as cache was visible from quite a distance, notice small loose rocks at the cache entrance, arranged so cache wasn't quite so easily seen.
Few muggles around and very dry, although creek was running much to the delight of dogs!

Found while out walking the dogs didn't realise such a beautiful park was hidden away in here.... A few muggles around but didn't have to wait long for them to dissappear as the sun was setting. The bench near by is a great place to sit and examine the cache.

I always get a sense of history when visiting this spot
My Great Great Grand parents are among those listed on this memorial as congregation members. They owned a farm on the near by Trial Hill.
Always enjoy a stop in this spot, but didn't want to hang around today... that lighting was starting to get a bit too close! thanks folks

Well finally got my own GPS (Chrissy present Garmin 60C! ) so I no longer have to borrow one!
Extremy hot afternoon so we set out on this one around 4pm with the Thunder rolling over head.
Saw heaps of Roo's, a small goanna, and a Stumpy Tail Lizard in a hollow log near GZ.

Second find of the day, having lived not far from here during my youth was a fairly easy find, little hint, if you want to avoid the bus loads of tourists that visit here, arrive late in the afternoon. (Closes at 6pm during Day light Saving!)
The drinking fountian "Filtered by SA Water" was a welcome sight on this warm day.... but it still tastes like Adelaide water!
