Silver Lake Flat is the water of life at an elevation of 7512 ft. Decided to log this while on a late season ATV ride in the mountains of Utah. Really a impressive ride for flat landers from North Dakota.

While on a early Nov. weekend trip to eastern Montana we found this kiosk commemorating Clark's trip on the Yellowstone river, in Glendive, MT.

This one is more than the 1st letter, Mandan (No Dak) is spelled out on this hillside. 
 
The North Dakota Liberty Bell is on loan to Century High School in Bismarck, ND. It is located in the lobby.

Trail of Tears, #39 is the name of this one.

Waited a long time to get this one logged, was concerned that someone from the area would log it first.

Description: Head of a Native American Indian, attached to the octagon-shaped base with 8 large bolts, visible through a gap between the two. The Indian has high cheekbones, hook nose, circular medallions around his neck, and a headband with two tiers of feathered plumes on top. The head "is of no particular tribe but is a composite of all the Indian tribes whose history is part of the state's history - Mandan, Sioux, and Chippewa."
