Logs for The Kangawallabats

Great family fun with Miss 2 (Koala) & Miss 5 (Wombat). Thanks for the cache

We only had 2 minutes to search as our cranky toddler limited time. We found what we thought was the likely hide, but no luck.

Another amazing view with sheep & lambs very inquisitive as to what we were doing. SL, TFTC
A previous DNF for us last year however it was a really easy find on our second attempt . SL, TFTC
Multiple parts of log found strewn all over likely GZ (see photo), but unable to find cache container. If suggest it needs to be checked by owners.
It took a while to find something just a little out of place before the cache was found. Lovely spot in the middle of a residential area. No geocoin in cache. SL TFTC
A DNF for us, however we couldn't spend too long searching due to a snoozing GeoToddler (who generally only stays asleep with the car moving). Quite a few possible hide locations, just no luck today.
Found at 1:20pm on a sunny Winter's day (24 August 2016).
The surrounding wattle was in full bloom & looking magnificent. An easy find when you look for that point of difference. Something had nibbled the bottom of the cache but the log had been replaced recently so was in great condition. SL, TFTC

Found at 2:30pm, 24th August 2016. Located on a road you'd probably miss if it wasn't for geocaching & the reservoir seemed quite a low level. Clue lead us straight to GZ quickly. SL, TFTC
Found at 10:45am 24/08/16 with GeoToddler & GeoGSP's in tow. A nice little walk. SL, TFTC
Wow! What a view. It looks like some sort of development may be in the pipeline here in the future & we can understand why. The view is magnificent! SL, TFTC

We had come up Heysen Road just to see how far we could get up the hill for the view of the coast. It was lovely to find a cache in the same location that explained the local history & link to the road name. Bring your own pen for this micro & no need to worry about the electric fence as the cache isn't that close to it.

Great cache! I'd suggest that it was inappropriate for previous cachers to drive off the designated road right up to the cache. Caching is not about causing damage to the surrounding area.

A beautiful park. Most worth the stop, especially if you have small children. Play the 'Wrens & Feathers' game if you have time (located in the Children's Garden).

Found after 3 previous attempts. This area had many more muggles than anticipated for the wet season.
2 containers found within 10m of each other. 1 black & 1 clear container. Signed both logs
Great hide. Not as easy as the other 'wave'. Go-go-gadget arms are an advantage for this cache.

Found while staying at the nearby caravan park. Although cold and windy, it was really nice being in this part of the world outside of the school holiday influx
Found on hubby's birthday after we had already walked past this area twice as we were staying at the nearby Caravan Park. The logged entries look like we weren't the only ones who found the cache that day however we didn't see whales

We wish we had viewed the images before attempting this one. We didn't attempt due to 10+ muggles at the neighbouring building site. What a shame - this cache looked like such a good hide!
DNF - Far too much traffic at this location for us not to look 'sus' so after 2 of us looking for a few minutes, we moved on.
What a great hide.... literally! I'd recommend this cache for families as it is not too close to traffic, the whole family can get involved and the younger ones may have a useful perspective. This was one of my favourite caches during our week stay 'down south'

No luck finding an easy and safe spot to pull over and search (with toddler in tow) as bollards have been installed along roadway.
Found on a cold, wet and windy day approx. 1:40pm 19th of August 2015. It was a great cache to bring you to part of the island you may normally miss. It was nice to have a look at the properties further down Narnu Bay Drive.
