23-Nov-24
Our first find in a long time. The paper is a little damp, so may need a checkup soon.

28-Sep-14
Quick Sunday morning find.

21-Sep-14
Found it. Tftc

There were a few water dragons watching as we found it. Kids thought the hide was hilarious.

Was one unfriendly magpie protecting the cache - made it an adventure.

14-Sep-14
Bit cold for swimming, but still lots of people to avoid.

tftc

12-Sep-14
Quick find, never new this place existed.

tftc

Took the kids to the cemetery, they have a morbid curiosity.,

glad we didn't have to walk over the graves.

tftc

The clue helped, we were about to look underneath..

tftc

GPS almost out of batteries, but we managed to find it.

We tried to take the clean way - didn't read the gumboot requirements until too late.

Kids got a bit muddy, I'm pretty sure it was deliberate and could have been avoided though.

07-Sep-14
Found this one a while ago, but forgot to log it.

I remember there was a lot of mozzies and not good with bare feet.

tftc

Managed to find this just as the GPS ran out of batteries. Tftc

First time to Bribie. Pulled into the parking lot to have a look at the beach and we found we we right between the 2 caches in the area.

Nice spot. Thanks

Found it.

It was taped shut, so didn't open it.

30-Aug-14
nice quick one.

Nice spot tftc

Another quick and easy find with 3 geokids in tow.

There was a guy sleeping in the bush not far from the gz - we surprised each other - he probably thought he had a nice secluded spot.

Quick and easy, stepped off the track in just the right place.

09-Aug-14
Watch out for muggles on foot and on bikes. Our Master 4yr old decided to tell anyone who went past what we were doing.

Kids rode scooters along the bike path, watch out for steep bits and sharp corners lol

15-Jan-14
Walked round looking for a good way in, but ended up a bit of a bush bash.

Found it.

14-Jan-14
Found it

Nice hiding spot, lots of muggles around!

Found it, forgot our pen to add to the log though Sad

12-Jan-14

easy peasy lemon squeezy.

early sunday morning find.

Found it!

06-Jul-08
[Took a while to find this one, I thought it may have been discovered by the inhabitants of the cave - but it's in a good spot Smile]

A second person looking from below would help.

29-Jun-08
Looks like there were 3 find in one day!

I think we may have been the 2nd through, so maybe it was us that you saw woyboys. Bad spot for muggles.

Cheeky spot, right there in front of everyone Smile

24-Jun-08
wow, this is the largest cache i've ever seen!

nice spot! sorry no swaps today.

07-Jun-08
Our GPS was playihng up on this one, but we found it eventually.

Dropped of TB figure 5 - This cache is full of travel bugs!

24-May-08
Found this one pretty easily with the help of the hint. GPS had about 5 metres away.

Picked up figure 5 TB.

21-Aug-05
Found this one on our way from 40 basket beach to Manly. GPS was spot on.

The container was out in the open for everyone to see, so I put it back to where it looks like it came from, and covered it with a little grass.

Left Tyrannosaurus (he just fit), took nothing.

31-Jul-05
Decided to do the walk from spit to Manly. It was pretty crowded on the path, and we met mr Whippy on the way.

We had to bush bash a little to find this one, but then found the easier way on the way out again.

Took Tyrannosaurus, left a puzzle.

25-Apr-05
Long walk from manly vale on Anzac day. Plenty of muggles walking past, so had to be careful.

Left nothing, took nothing.

15-Apr-05
We thought we would check this one out, whil camping at Seal Rocks.

10-Apr-05
Nice sunny day, left a saddle club sticker - took teddy bear broach.

14-Nov-04
We were in a bit of a rush to find this one, as it was getting late and we still had to drive back to Sydney.
The GPS had us a fair way off, had almost given up but found it on the way out.

Took Turtle and left Chrysler TB.

24-Sep-04
Our second attempt at this one. No wonder we couldn't find it, we were looking for something slightly larger. Nice one!

Finally found this one, we had one visit for each waypoint. Nice easy find. Took water bombs, left a dinosaur.

Nice Spot, be carefull of the bees!
The gps had me a fair way off for this one. I managed to find it as I was trying to get to where the gps was pointing - lucky for the clues!

No Swaps.

21-Sep-04
Our first attempt at this cache was our very first geocache, I don't think I was able to use the gps correctly, lol. This time we went for it in the dark, just to show that we have improved.. Smile

We changed the container for a new one, although it was a tight squeeze...

Another quick night cache.

Took SES whistle, left Aloe-vera cream.

Parked the car at the south carpark at about 5:45pm. By the time I found the cache, I had to run all the way back to the car, so I could beat the ranger closing the gate.
Pretty scary running in the dark over those rocks.. lol

took travel bug, left ses whistle.

20-Sep-04
Argh, the mud and mozzies! We had a guess at the direction and foolishly attempted the direct route, before turning back and looking for alternatives.
Left a candle, took nothing.

19-Sep-04
Nice quick one, had no balls to swap though unfortunately.

We walked down past the baseball game to the general area, there were plenty of hidey holes to look in - we found it eventually. No Swaps.

18-Sep-04
We parked on the princes highway and decided to bush bash the direct route. After plenty of cuts and bruises we finally got there. Next time we'll have to read the instructions more thoroughly, the coords of where to park the car would've helped a lot. No swaps.
