Poor GPS reception meant spending a lot of time looking for the right place to start really searching. Very good camouflage. I ended up looking right at it, and not picking it up! Caroline was more thorough though.

Woohooo! Our very first FTF. Thanks for the cache. An excellent hide, and couldn't be more convenient for the East Angles. We were tipped off by our good friends "The Paua Rangers". From the facebook message, scramble for the location and torches, to found and logged in under 15 minutes. Cool.

This one was a challenge. The hint got me looking in the right place, but someone had hidden the cache very thoroughly! Eventually got it after quite a lot of poking around in the undergrowth. TNLNSL, TFTC

Went back for another look and typically went straight to it this time. I swear I looked exactly where it was last visit. Never mind. Found this time and signed log book. Thanks for the cache! 

Many possible hiding places, meant some time looking in the wrong place. Persistence paid off, and found in the end. TFTC

Spent a fruitless half hour walking slowly around GZ. GPS (Garmin Oregan) showed accuracy of 6 metres, but even with the hint I couldn't find the cache. Would love to know if it is still there.

I like this one. An awful lot of people around on the top today, so had to wander off for a bit to let the traffic pass. Once I had the hill to myself, I was able to find the cache quickly.

Found this nice and quickly on a trip into the Akatarawa forest. Can't believe I've walked past it so many times. I should keep my pocket queries more up to date.

Cache well hidden, but a little damp. Tried my best to get rid of the condensation before putting it all back.
