Wow. Beautiful spot. Was about to give up after 30min of fruitless searching. Didn't help my GPS had me pinged on the wrong side of the river but after reading the comments, there's enough subtle hints that when I was about to leave after searching the clearly wrong area I did one last scan around the gully and the correct spot was so obvious. I can't believe I walked past it 4 times. Great cache. Thanks

Haha you'd think with how often I miss these I'd learn. Took way too long to find that. Awesome spot. Tftc

Missed it on the first couple passes but then when I found it I wondered how I hadn't seen it the first time!! Big thank you to the land owners for allowing us crazy people to have a hunt in this amazing spot.Tftc
As previously stated, no longer a picnic spot so ealk around the fence. Plenty of off road parking still. Shame, looks like a lovely wee spot. Nice easy find. Tftc
Couldn't find this the last time I came through. Don't know why. Was in the first place I looked this time. Tftc
Love NZs old rail history. Love these tunnels. Tftc
Grew up exploring NZs expansive historic rail network with my grandfather. I always love going through these tunnels. Tftc

Classic Angus. Once I found him it was easy. Even grabbed some huge pinecones to decorate my fireplace. Tftc

Long weekend away with some mates and the bnb we stayed at was less than 100m away! Always keen to sneak in a cache. TFTC
