Good find after a kayak from home across the estuary with Geosis Tillylamp. Lots of godwits and a few yachts racing on the estuary including the other half of Tillerpilots.

Lovely winter's day trip to one of our favourite spots. Left a little later than intended and the sun went down at the co-ordinate spot just as we arrived - 2.00 pm. Still plenty of daylight as it is only the steepness of the surrounding terrain with the sun set time for this region closer to 6.00pm this time of year. Snow on the ground for the last few hundred metres but easy enough to get around. A good track and having an earth cache to "get" just an extra reason to got there. Thank for the knowledge gained.

A photo from here will hopefully work for the second task set for The Kina Cliffs Earth Cache
The plaque always made me think about bronze as an anti-foul - well at least the copper in it!
A great day for a walk on the beach from Ruby Bay and collect a handful of caches including our first Earth Cache. The Second photo is all about man-made "erosion". Not the real answer but Kiwi Explorer sees the connection and said "OK"
A lovely spot to stop for lunch on a walk from home to do 4 caches along from Ruby Bay

A nice little find. Good to have the reborn cache after the original was one of our first finds.
Found in my favourite place after having to wait for the tide following the walk south across farmland and onto the beach rather than just straight there. Being the first on the beach after a big storming high tide we were able to do some good beach combing! TFTC

Found it after a visit further up the Aorere. A great place to swim through the paddock just here - is summer! Interesting to come back here with my first home being a couple of hundred metres back down the road.
Found it on our way to Lunch at the Beech. Good Spot. Would love to see the river in flood!
After lunch at Browns we headed for Heaphy Start and Lunch at the Beech. A good place to warm up on a cool but clear winter's day. A good "destination" cache. TFTC
Hopefully a good many years before having to seriously think about finding a resting place as good as this! Much of the district history is tied up in the names there.
