I decided to take advantage of my first free day of the holidays by coming to Alton to do the Stancombe Scramble and also pick a few other caches in the area.
This is a clever hide, much trickier than the difficulty rating suggests. I searched a few places before spotting something that seemed to have been “keyed” and once that was removed the cache was found. Fav point for a clever hide. Tftc

Found on a lovely day caching in London with Geo-Gas-Head, ReggieCat, The.Eagle.Has.Landed and Lydford Locators. We found a variety of urban hides, a few virtuals and saw some great landmarks. Logs signed jointly as "The Shires".
The location of this cache was something of a pilgrimage for us today, ReggieCat and myself being big fans of the band connected with the location. We finished our day here and did a few different caches connected with the area. Great fun!
