Spotted it on the ground while walking past on a lovely autumn afternoon. Re-hid it.

Easy find with one of the Geokids. Sadly a very scant cache with nothing for us to swap either.
Thanks for the cache though, a lovely mural!

The geokids and their two geoparents went caching. This was a nice little loop to find. Good hides and easy for the kids with some good swaps. TFTC

Great cache, nice hiding spot! The two geokids did a great job to get to this one!

While socially distancing ourselves we found our hideout for the coming months. Easy find, but logs were full.

On the 6th anniversary of Tynomite and Fernwerm, we brought the geokids to our wedding spot (at Karka) then came up here to another spot that is quite special to us. Most of our wedding photos were taken amongst these amazing trees. Tftc

Whoop! Found it on a lovely mid winter arvo with the geokids and geowife. HORACEcaching may not be so active, but we still rock!

My son found it for us while we were exploring the park. Lovely summers morning for a play

Nice quick find after a long day's work. What great sculptures and the view these two geezers get is pretty good too. Took nothing, left my name in the book. Thanks!

Nice local cache for us. Walked over the hill in the morning heat. We walked up the single track a way to sneak a view. Then back down to find the cache. We really need to log more of our local caches.

Found whilst out orienteering today in the Park. Said hello to the resident huntsman spider (quite friendly).
Nice to find these unusual things in random places!

Um do I brag about how easy it was to find for me?

Thanks for this novel cache!

Accidental cache find with Jenillium after the 2017 SA Night Orienteering Championships. Jenny spotted the frogs eyes while locating the last competitor of the night and the GZ led to just 5m past my tent! Thanks for the cache!

Thanks, easy find after my flying lesson at the nearby Airfield. Great day for a fly and great day for a cache hunt! #2, 2017-09-10 at 12:20, Thanks

Found pretty easily with the family wandering through the forest. Signed the log but wasn't prepared for any swaps.

A quick find whilst out on a morning walk with the family. I think this was Patrick's first geocache! Didn't end up being the happiest experience for him as a pack of dogs came running up to scare him. I don't think dog packs are common and they were friendly, but their people were nowhere to be found. I suspect they were from a neighbouring house.

Easy find after checking out our Arena for the Orienteering Club Relays in the rocky paddocks nearby. Had 1/2 of Bridgemon, and Maggot with me from San Francisco. Nice cool day and great views!
22-Jun-13
Easy little find while waiting for our good friend and living legend Brett to finish his 65day paddle from the Snowys to the mouth. He is amazing.
12-May-13
Found with FernWerm and Paul on the weekend of Uncle Brian's 70th birthday who was a pupil of this school. Lovely weekend in the west from Adelaide!
15-Mar-12
Full time Rogainers, Part Time Geocachers and reigning champions of the Geogaine Tynomite and Mr Smeg will be contesting again. Team Wibble will fail.

Wow, there were a lot of Orb Spiders around this cache. Beautiful big spiiders. Didn't take too long to find and we signed the log and we were off again on our drive to Willunga for lunch.

I've flown into Aldinga a few times in the past and if you haven't stopped at the hangar/cafe there before it is wel worth it for the Hot Chocolates and the Brownies - the best around. As we stopped on the corner just up from the cach we had a Beechcraft Bonanza just about plant it self on top of us, it was really cool, but i think Fern was a little concerned. Didn't take too long to find, but it took some convincing to get me to leave the airstrip since i am a bit of a aviation junkie.

Wow. How much fun in Rogaining and Geocaching combined. I teamed up with Christofuffel from Team Smeg for the first time since about 1998 for a rogaine. I have to say that Geogaining is a lot harder than Rogaining. In Rogaining you can plan your route before hand and then simply go and execute that plan. In Geogaining you can't come up with a plan, you have to think on the fly. I like that idea, and it can lead to a whole lot more combinations of results than a rogaine. Plus the geocaches don't tend to stand out like the rogaine controls.
Our strategy was simple - find geocaches, start with the hard ones and make our way to the easy ones. Since both of us were a bit rusty on the geocaching side of things i thought we might have had trouble in the finding of the caches. We did have a little help to start with but i think we were searching with the Kettles on the first hard cache. I was lucky enough to find it and was almost sly enough to not expose the location to the Kettles, but i found out that i am human and i couldn't leave without giving away the location and karma ends up coming back to you anyway..... So we then made our way to 90 - the hard way through the prickly acacia bushes. and scrambled up to punch the control. We passed 81 on our way to 90 and thought we'd give 90 a crack first. So on the way back down we found the Kettles just finishing up their seach (succesfully) at 81 and thankfully removing all of our search time at that cache (though we still had to climb all the way to pecariously punch the cache). W darted off to the medium controls and discovered that 3 hours goes fast especially when you are whinging about Telstra. 50 was a nice change from the hard to the medium caches. We opted to try for all the medium caches, going to 71 after the central cache. We had some difficulty finding 71 with another team, but found a GC cache there in conjunction. Running more and more short of time we took off straight for 61. Within 100m of the cache we were both focussed on our GPS and walked waist deep straight into a hole - me first and Chris directly follwoing me. An interesting surprise that was since the grass didn't really indicate a hole.... By this stage we had about 45min remaining as we shot of to 20 to see how many bonus points we could get before being too late. The darkness had truly come in by the time we got to 20 and we found our selves with about 15min remaining when we were leaving the control so 20 was our last visit. We finished with 6min to spare.
Ok so we ended up winning much to our surprise, since we walked to whole way i wouldn't have been surprised if any runners could've taken out the event. Luck for us there were none. We ended up on 440 points and were kind ouf chuffed with our result. I have a new strategy for the next geogaine and hope to try it out...
Thanks Z and Sushilord for a well orgainsed event, and to SARA for the great Rogaine and pizzas. Our car on the way home was full of certificates since my girlfriend and her partner won the womens Rogaine and were 4th overall, yay for them!

Found it by accident while on the Geogaine 2011. The cache was literally 1m from the geogaine cache! Lucky us!

Tynomite (from THE HORACEcaching) and Christofuffel (from THE Team Smeg) will be in attendance, both seasoned rogainers (Junior State Champions in the late 1990's!) and occassional Geocachers, we can't wait to try it!

We were just about to give up on this when i had an epiphany which paid off. Fernilium was amazed by the hide - loved it. TFTC!
Fernilium and I needed to stretch our legs so we thought it was about time we actually find the two caches closest to our house. It took a little bit of searching as we didn't want to disturb the shrubbery too much. But we found it and were happy as a result. TFTC!
31-Dec-10
On the last day we finally got to try for this cache after pining for it from the banks 4 days earlier. We had really nasty Nor-Easterly winds blowing us about, but we managed to eject Susanne onto the island, she searched but in vain. We tried to circle the ilsand in our canoes, but found ourselves being blown well off course. Sadly a DNF for us, but at least we tried. I hope it is still there.
30-Dec-10
We were going to try a different cache from our campsite, but after reading the notes we decided there was a rather large cliff and a river in the way. We had canoes so we paddles from Lasletts camp back to the cache site. Lachlan and I managed 8km/hr up stream into a head wind with Fern on board (we were averaging about 5km/hr downstream with a tailwind all day). When we got there we found a mischievous Susanne waving at us from the shore, she found it much quicker to run from camp then canoe. We darted past the skiers and into the scrub to find the cache. Paddling back downstream we found we had extra ballast being a girl who'd rather be chauffeured than run. TFTC
