Took a bit of finding but finally found it. A great spot, took a photo of the family piled up like burnt Orcs.

Thought that it might have been buried in the workings for the ditch, but after reading the past logs we carried on looking. Finally found it.

This is the second time that we attempted this cache. The last time there were too many people around. Took a little to find the canhe. Sat in the sun and had lunch by the lake. Nice spot if you like the noise of boats and things.

Went to Te Mona gorge today and thought we could catch this one on the way home. We had Travel Bug Zero with us for the ride.

Timaru - South Island - New Zealand
This lighthouse is now used as a rear leading beacon. The lighthouse was designed by John Blackett, Marine Engineer, and from 1878 to 1970 was the main harbour navigation light. In 1980 the Timaru Harbour Board moved the tower from its original position at No. 7 The Terrace to this site provided by the Timaru City Council. 

It was a lovely evening for the family to take the dogs for a walk. It was very pleasant on the beach.

We enjoyed doing this one even though we did not find the cache, even with the clue. The GeoGods must have taken it.

There was a bike race on at the time and access was not the best, muggles every where. But we did look very hard and still we did not find it.

The spot where it should be looked as if it had been played in a lot by kids so maybe they found it? 

This stone bridge was on the main road south of Timaru. It is not longer moves and very soon will no longer be seen as the main road is being moved. I am not sure when it was built but it is made from local blue stone, a basalt rock from the local volcano. 

Finally after all these years I managed to get up here. Took a while to find the cache.

This has been our worst day so far with three caches not found. We used the clue but even then we had no luck. It looked like the place had certainly be given the once over. 

Today was such a beautiful day that we decided to head out for some caches. This was the first for the day. a wonderful spot. 

Another one in the bag, my son found this one in less than a minute of arriving here.

I have attached some photos that show that there are drawings here, but not at the one with the Geocache is located. You have to go to the other one further up the track...
