TFTC - started a round on the coast near Wellington to try and get a more southerly cache. Completed with Paul, Lilly and Joe.
TFTC. Last one of the trip. Spent a few minutes looking in the wrong place, but was there in the end.
TFTC. This should be my most southerly cache in the world. A good walk from the car park, and a nice day.
Cache itself was wet, and the log quite damp.

TFTC. I actually wanted to the other one on the ridge, as I though (given my limited time), this one would take too long. In the end I found this one first, although the climb up in a rush was no fun.
Magnificent views from the top of the airport.
Log could do with being replaced.

TFTC. At the nearby Nature Reserve, and took a few minutes to do this one before heading off for lunch.

Looked for this one a few years ago when I was last in Wellington to no avail. This time was better. Forgot to have a pen with me, so this photo will have to do.

TFTC - Popped in around midday - a nice small library and a peaceful place to stop for a few minutes. I really like these library caches.
TFTC - Logged with darren. We headed out early to see the Alpacas and calves being fed at the Dairy, and were able to do this one quickly.

TFTC - Found with darren and Callum. We parked some 1.5km away, and it was a nice walk - we did remember to bring some water as it was very warm. Saw plenty of lizards on the way, and some interesting bird life.

TFTC - With the weather tomorrow looking maybe wet I took some time in the afternoon to do these 7 caches. A nice walk out in the wilderness. 5 of 7.
This one was the whole reason to come out here - and it was worth it. Really nice time out in the quiet.

TFTC - I'm posting the same text for all the Burke Lake caches today. Did 12km around the lake, and 20 odd caches. A nice run - I might comment that some of the co-ordinates were up to 12m off, and some serious bush-wacking was required. Only one DNF. It's a really nice park and a great place for caching.
Quite an honour to do such an old cache - the European oldest is still on my list to do.

Thanks for the cache. Dropped off TB En taro Adun. Took two visits! Collected TBs for transport to Europe!

Picked it up three times before concluding it was the cache. Very wet inside. Biro did not take well on the log. It's soaked. Tftc
Log needs to be dried out, and possibly the lid changed. The current container cannot hold any TBs, and I'm confused by the list of TBs here. I was planning to drop one off, but it'll have to wait until NZ...

TFTC. Much wandering around in the dark. Finally found it by accident.
