One of my favorite caches was GC7E. You need a watercraft to access this one but the trip to GZ was worth it.

I had the week off and thought it would be fun to head to Utah and grab the six remaining 2000 caches(I already had Potters Pond). I talked to mmcash and he said that sounded like fun.
We knew this was going to take the most effort and planning. We decided to rent a jet ski for half day since everything else was booked except the kayaks. It was first come first serve on a half day rental of jet skis. We showed up early and they only had 2 Jet Skis left...I guess during this time of the year they usually don't have any left for half days so we felt very lucky to get one.
It took about an hour to finally get our Jet ski. We were both excited to start our way to the cache. The open waters were very choppy which made for an interesting ride. We got the Labyrinth Canyon and started our slow ride through the amazing beauty of the canyon. We reached a spot that narrowed where the jet ski had an inch of clearance on either side. The journey came to an end because of the sand bar blocking us from continuing. We had to wait for the 15 swimmers coming through the passage before turning around and finding another way.
We searched for anywhere to park and head to the cache but the walls were way to steep and nowhere to leave the Jet Ski. We finally found a spot(mmcash gave the coordinates in his log) and anchored the Jet Ski and started our 1.1 mile hike in 100 degree weather. The sun beat off the rocks which just intensified the heat. We did get a little break everytime a cloud would pass in front of the sun. The hike wasn't that bad at all...if it was cooler. We reached gz and made the quick find. We celebrated and took some pictures before heading back to the Jet Ski. This cache won't ever be forgotten and I would love to come back and explore more of the lake. I am Happy to have this off my list. Thanks Polt for keeping this oldie alive.

I wanted to collect this before the winter really set in. This was the last month I needed to fulfill my Jasmer. We searched in the snow and wet bushes trying to find the cache. It was very slippery and I fell a few times but I wasn't going to leave without my smiley. We expanded our search and finally saw the geo give away. I was so relieved. My Jasmer is complete(now I need to go sign that log before November) Getting a favorite point for sure. What a good day of hiking and caching. Thanks for keeping this oldie going

Finally logging caches from our trip. This was one of our must have's on our 2 week, 16 state and 5300 mile vacation. We got up excited to know we were going to get the oldest cache still active. Shilly69 and I are very happy to get our smiley on Mingo. Thanks for maintaining this cache.

This was our main objective of our vacation. We missed the turn completely to Potters pond on hwy 31. We had to back track 15 miles. The drive out was pleasant with the trees starting to change colors. Took a bunch of pictures. One more date left to full fill my Jasmer. There were no TB's in the cache. Thanks for keeping this great cache going. favorite for sure.
