Found it! Just in time, because the rain started shortly after. Before going down the hill we watched an F-111 passed overhead on its way to Anzac Parade at 12:53pm for the Australian Vietnam Forces National Memorial. TFTC!

Found it! On the way there from another cache, in a bit of drizzle, we walked past a group of kangaroos. About 30 minutes before finding this cache we watched an F-111 passed overhead on its way to Anzac Parade at 12:53pm for the Australian Vietnam Forces National Memorial. TFTC!

I take walks from the Embassy every day and decided to check this cache our during my lunch break because it is so close to my work.
20 minutes walk there, 5 minutes to find (with hint), 15 minutes taking in the scenery, 20 minutes walk back - PERFECT. Have visited the cache three times now - forgot pen the first time... brought pen the second time... brought a co-worker the third time, and added a green origami paper airplane to the cache signed Mr G. TFTC! Have decided to go by 'MrGreen' from now on and will sign all my finds in this way.
*edit* MrGreen is taken :S... new geocaching name: blackshiraz. Thought it best to change to something other than my RL name Very Happy
-> visited the cache several times now, and several co-workers have found and signed it Very Happy
TFTC Again

Found this cache after a fun hike down into the valley. An excellent spot to introduce my cousin to geocaching. He was rather impressed with the concept, and I was impressed with the scenery. Took a bit to find as there were a several spots it could have been. Hint: if you can't see it at first glance, it isn't there... keep looking. We were poking into holes with sticks trying to find it. When we did it was simply: Oh! I found it! and didn't require prodding around at all.
I took a superball. He took a pencil with a $100 USD design.
I left TFTC #CCNYT4 (brought it from Canberra)

Edit: be wary of leeches.... my cousin found one attached during the hike, and I discovered one on my leg a couple hours after returning home.
