Found cache without to much trouble during a unplanned stop over at Methven. 

Grandies found this one fairly easily, restocked it with some extra swaps. 

Found the cache on a weather perfect day. Spent quite a while longer gazing at the panoramic main divide. 

Wizzed past here all my life in a hurry to get to somewhere, What a magnificent view of downstream Rakaia river! 

Found it, but badly in need of refurbishment. inside of small container wet wet with soggy log. 

Yip, found it at a great little spot on a weather perfect day. A bit of head scratching about the clue! 

Good find by the grandies, Didn't quite know what the clue was about until we were right on it, then it all became clear. 

Found cache out in the open, possibly disturbed by tree trimmer. Replaced in more secluded spot as close to clues as poss. 

Found the cute little pointer. Grandies though it was there for the taking. Off to find stage two, I definitely missed it, just as well another much younger set of eyes found it. 

A good find by the grandkids, many options prompted an accurate interpretation of the decrypt code. A good lesson in reading for them. 

Good find by the grandchildren. One of those great places that we have sped past in a hurry to get somewhere. We will certainly be stopping there for a cuppa in the future. 

Didn't persevere with this cache. To much human waste and rubbish around cache area. 

For years we have been zooming past this lovely spot on our way to somewhere. Will certainly be re- visiting this place in the future. Dropped of trackable CRVNNF to this cache

Good easy find by the grandkids on a dull rainy old day. Glad we didn't have to storm our way through wet native bush to get to the old mighty oak. Retrieved CRVNNF Thanks, good cache. 

Eventually found it on a wet cold old day. We all got thoroughly soaked trying to get through the native bush to the GPS location. Didn't fill in the log, fingers wouldn't work properly!
Max out the car heater please. 

Easy find, but not the place for geocaching kids with open road traffic ! 

Awesome place, grand kids and I spent the best part of a warm day there exploring the area, found the cache fairly easy but little people not to keen on the final retrieval. might be something else in there besides the cache. 

Good find by grandies on way home from castle rocks. Warm day, ice creams all round and cone racing down the water race. lovely place, thankyou. 

great cache in nice area found by the grand kids. We exchanged what we had. I will revisit the cache and exchange like for like to keep the car yard topped up.

After negotiating a couple of whoppa muddy puddles and eliminating the "other" man made things, finally found the real item disguised and blending in with all the other autumn colours. 

good straight forward find. Didn't take to long before we were stripping off the jackets. Beautiful views of the lower Rakaia Gorge make seeking this cache well worth the effort. 

Good straight forward find,Been going to Peel Forest with the family for years but never have ventured up that side road. Well worth the drive just to do the bush walks with a bit of cache fun thrown in. 

Followed the little arrow to this cache after visiting Blandswood Rock. The crytic clue made it reasonably easy to find.Dwelled for quite a while on the history from by gone years. 

Good easy find. Well worthwhile making the effort to visit Bobs Bay.Very Difficult to up and leave.

Had a couple of go's at this one. Our little arrow was pointing slightly in the wrong place??? Found it second time around with the help of a fresh pair of eyes.Really enjoyed the short walk and the relaxing atmosphere of the area. 

You are joking, under "that" big rock. Lucky for us the little arrow told us to go a little further!!! Good sraight forward find. 

Yes, finally on the forth attempt, we found it.Exactly where the little arrow said it should be, and within inches of where we had looked before. Sue, my better half said that she would have a "mothers" look,and wouldn't you know it,within 30 secs, there it was. Now we can move on. 

We must be looking to hard for this one, third time and still no success.
